I Lost 5% I Burned 5,000 Calories! I Lost 5 Lbs!

Hi All,

Just checking in ;)

Something about me:
Female, Age 22, weighing 122lbs (56kg), formerly very lazy (and looking forward to change that).

My main goal is to improve in tennis so I’m trying to add 100 push-ups to my workout. I know that so far I can only do 20 (split in 2 sets of 10) so there’s a lot of work to do.

I’d appreciate any tips in helping me achieving this goal … I was going to do push-ups every two days since my arms/shoulders aren’t exactly strong and I’m a bit worried that I might injure myself.

Good Luck with achieving this goal.

Hi,

I’m following the 100 Push Up Challenge plan:

http://hundredpushups.com/

I started being able to do a max of 18 consecutive push ups and have built that up to 51 by following that plan. I’m on week 6 now, but I had to repeat week 5 three weeks in a row.

Hope this helps.

About me, I’m primarily a distance runner (main focus on 5k to 10k distance, though I run up to half marathons). I’ve been doing the 100 Push Up routine because a strong core and upper body helps runners maintain form in the later stages of a race.
