Hey all,

I’ve discorverd a yummy treat for when I’m craving something sweet. I picked up Danone Silhouet (sp?) vanilla flavoured yogurt. Half a cup (which when measured is quite a bit) is only 50 calories. I needed something sweet last night and had that instead of chocolate (which was 180 calories) and it totally hit the spot.

So are we going to continue posting our “3 things” here? I kind of liked it :) (made me feel accountable for actually doing them).

Well, I’ll start. Here are my 3 things for today:
1. Run on the treadmill for at least 2 miles (and walk until I hit 3 miles)
2. Cook dinner (as opposed to ordering takeout)
3. Drink at least 2 nalgene’s full of water.

Hi everyone!

Yesterday was a pretty good day. I was craving pizza but mostly settled the craving by eating one of the lean cuisine frozen pizzas. I was going to work out after work yesterday but came home with a terrible headache so took an (accidentally-long) 3 hour nap instead. Oh well, at least when I woke up I felt a ton better. I’ll work out today in a few hours once I digest my lunch a bit. I plan on making some chicken stir-fry tonight for dinner. It’s super yummy and a great way to get tons of veggies in. I hope to get all 5 servings of fruits and veggies in today, work out and stay on track. Nothing is more motivating than seeing some great results! Have a great weekend everyone. Tomorrow is March 1st so the countdown begins to the end of the month!

3 things for today:
1. Get in at least 30 mins of exercise
2. Eat 5 servings of fruits/veggies.
3. Avoid snacking and drink plenty of water!

Didn’t have a good weekend. Went down 0.2 on Sat. I did a good workout & ate healthy. Even took my own snack out with me while i ran errands and shopped. Sunday I was up 1.6 LBS! I had no energy, couldn’t bring my myself to do my workout, had a 3 hour nap, but ate pretty good except for a chewy dipped granola bar to see if the sugar would help (it didn’t). But I went back down 0.6. Overall I’m up 0.6 from Firday – not bad all things considered. Heading out to my parents place right after work today to walk on the treadmill.

Just remember guys- this weighing in every day can be frustrating, but its not abnormal to fluctuate a pound or two in a day.

One of the things I learned in Weight Watchers is to try to always weigh in at the same time of day, because you should be at about the same place. I like to do first thing in the morning because that’s generally when you’re going to be at your lowest and it makes me feel better.

I stayed the same this morning, which is fine by me since I was bad yesterday- I ate alright, but since the roommate and boyfriend both got out of work early yesterday from the snow, and it looked like we would be off here too, we sat and drank lots of vino. The big salad for lunch is what saved me. That and the fact that Jason’s Deli closed early and couldnt make our delivery order…

Arg – my boss just brought down a box of jelly beans she wants to leave at my desk so ppl will eat them as they go by (I’m reception). The problem is I will eat them. Going to put them at the far end of my desk so my back is to them when I’m on the computer.

Didn’t do as well as I wanted with my workout last night – it kind of felt all wrong. My shoes weren’t fitting right, my music choice wasn’t right & I didn’t have the energy to push myself. But I did actually do the workout – (treadmill walking) and went for an extra 10 minutes. I wanted to get up to the 4s (incline & speed) but only managed an incline of 3 & speed b/ 3.3 & 3.5.

I do my weigh in after I get out of the shower in the morning – I feel awake & ready to start my day & except for weekends, it’s at around the same time every day.

my 3 things for today
- salad fro diner tonight (w/ some ham & hard boiled egss for protein)
- going to do 2 sets of my biggest loser circut workout tonight – while I watch the biggest loser
- grocery shopping tonight to take advantage of 10% off – not going to buy any processed foods

I Lost 50 LBS! I Lost 35 Lbs! I Lost 20 Lbs! Conqueror I Lost 5 Lbs! I Lost 10 Lbs!

Looks like I had a bad day or so, I’m not sure why. I ate under the amount of calories I should have and tried to stay active on the weekend, but I didn’t get to the gym as much as I have been.
I went last night but really wasn’t motivated at all. I changed my work out a bit to try to mix things up, but that didn’t help. Hopefully I’ll get out of this slump and get back to the progress I was so happy to see before.

Today I
- Ate a healthy breakfast and lunch.
- Will also eat a healthy dinner at home
- Won’t be able to get the gym but will spend at least an hour cleaning around the apartment
