The goal of this challenge is to perform 200 crunches in a single set, but there is not a way to set that up in Gyminee exactly, so the winner will be the one who does the most reps by Jun 15. This challenge was inspired by the '100 push-ups' challenge. There is a web site which can help you with this: http://www.twohundredsitups.com/.

This is the first challenge I’ve created, so hopefully I set everything up correctly. I had hoped to make it an ‘everyone wins’ type, but couldn’t figure out how to do that exactly. Personally, I consider every participant a winner, and anyone who can do 200 crunches in one set a champion cruncher.

Hi Melissa,
I’m sorry it’s misleading. I wanted to set it up to be that anyone who input 200 crunches in a single set would win, but I couldn’t set that up because of the limited options that Gyminee gives you. But I still wanted to make the challenge something that would encourage people to go for 200 crunches in one set, so I put all that into the description of the challenge. We should ask the Gyminee site owners to add this functionality in the forum.

So how is everyone doing? I’ve bee slacking on this one, as you can tell, but I plan to make an epic comeback! What are people’s reps looking like right now?

I can only do around 60 – 70/set when I’m just doing crunches, and a lot fewer when I incorporate into my other workout routine.

I set 2 personal records tonight! 90 in one set and 100 in the second (with a rest of about 2 hours :) ) and this is with no other working out except push-ups. My wife is now trying to beat my by getting to 200 first … bitch.
