How is everyone doing? Day 4 and I am still going strong. I should have a post up pretty soon on my exact routine… Hopefully it will help and I would love the feedback. @TheAng – I like the idea of treating everyday as Day 1. Great encouragement. The weekend is coming and the temptation will be to cheat. Don’t do it…. Keep on with it! |

So far so good for me! I like having this challenge – keeps me motivated. Also, went to the doctor today and I’m now back to, relatively, normal health so no more appointments or specialists. I am very happy about that! Let’s keep rolling everyone! |

From an exercise standpoint Day 4 went well for me. My diet was tough to stick to as I was visiting a supplier and was treated to a catered lunch by them. Thank God it was a relatively healthy meal. I’m holding off on weighing in until Monday just to keep it consistent. Regardless, I feel stronger and healthier than I did 4 days ago and that is all that really matters. |

My only issue is I’m finding myself pounding the protein shakes to try get to my 40/40/20 goal of protein/carb/fat. Other than that so far so good on my end. I almost didn’t do my cardio tonight (wife wanted me to go to bed and PROMISED to make me workout tomorrow morning & tomorrow night), but I couldn’t bear the thought of missing a day so early on. Another benefit of the challenge is I’m finally getting some consistent use for my home gym & elliptical that I spent some $$ on – yippee. |

The weekend is here – who else didn’t workout? I promised myself I’ll do my cardio tonight, but it’s so much easier to “cheat” on the weekends. |

Weekends are both bad and good for me – if I get up on time then I can go out for a long walk in the mornings but get up a little late or get overbooked and forget about it. There’s just so much that has to get done on the weekends – cleaning, laundry, errands, etc that it seems harder to find the time to workout. I’m not sure if eating is easier or harder – it just depends on if I’m home or not. When I’m home it’s pretty easy but if I have to be out a lot or want to go out with friends it becomes a bit harder. Planning is probably the most important part and most people welcome someone else making the decision about where to go for dinner, lol. |

Well one week in and not too bad – really wishing I hadn’t started day one already 3.3lbs in the hole. I’ve since lost that plus an extra 3.4 lbs so I’m feeling alright about it. Slight gain today but I actually expected that and it was a lot lower gain then I was preparing for. Still – starting in the hole… frustrating. Hope everyone has a great week 2! Keep moving and grooving! |

One week down and it’s all looking good ,Although I’ve only recorded losing (one) pound I know that my waist is smaller and chest is bigger ..so I’m bulking up and that’s my really over all GOAL.. Looking better In my jeans and T-shirts J;-) |
