You know what really pisses me off?…When people log all kinds of exercises that they couldn’t have possibly done in an attempt to stay at the top of the leader board. Such as walking 4.2 km, 200 crunches, 1 hour on the treadmill,10 km run, an hour of spinning, and 5 push-ups…all in one day. C’mon, seriously? There’s no way! If you’re seriously doing that, then you’ve got problems man. If that’s the case I might as well do calf raises all day at work. Let’s see, I weigh 165 pounds, if i did 1000 calf raises I could log 165,000 pounds lifted for the day. when you look at it like that it should be no problem to win these challenges. C’mon people, let’s play fair! |

As an addition to my last post…the particular individual I described above has logged that they burned 2430 calories today. Looking at their nutrition log, they consume, on average, about 2600 calories per day. This person’s BMR is 1880. When you add the two together you get 4310 calories burned…that leaves a 1710 calorie deficit. I don’t know, it seems like this individual should be losing weight like crazy. I’m surprised they even have enough energy to perform all the exercises they are supposedly performing. |

Hey! Are you G Series Fit challengers sleeping? That’s okay, you’re still burning calories and recovery is part of the game. Don’t forget to prime your workouts this am; bust out about 100 calories of carbohydrate before your workouts using a dilute electrolyte hydration drink (eg., 02 Perform from G Series Fit) unless you’re busting out the calories (then take more) and don’t forget recovery nutrition (10-20 grams of protein paired with some carbohydrate (03 Recovery smoothie) to help you recover and get you jacked for your next workuts. BTW…Did I tell you that is what our elite snow athletes take! Put it in you! Dont’ be afraid to sweat a little Gatorade. What’s in you! More on this in an upcoming blog from me!
