I guess this is a really difficult challenge. I was amazed that at 8% fat loss, I am on page 2 of 58 pages. Looks like most folks drop out without recording any gain or loss. Well, yeah for me! LL&P, Honda_Insight

Finally, down to 18.6% after a big push, running and strength training. Got my diet more or less locked down and shedding the unwanted fat. My first measurement was 8/10/09 and I was at 32.7% now 04/13/10 I am at 18.6%. Gonna keep on pushing down with my goal at 15% then down to 10% after that. This is a slow and steady kind of challenge like Honda_Insight said.

I Lost 10 Lbs! I Lost 5 Lbs!

I recommend reading burn the fat feed the muscle, by Tom Venuto. He gives a great no-nonsense approach to things, and also gives you the information you need to track your results week by week to determine whether you need to exercise more, eat more, or eat less, depending on the body composition results you achieve. It requires counting calories every day, as well as measuring yoru bodyfat, and lean muscle every week. Then you adjust yoru activities/diet, according to the results you get. For me, I had to eat more than I had been eating before the fat would shed.
