Just joined , hoping this will keep me motivated. I am overweight because I haven’t been exercising and not eating right. My body is not burning the calories because I don’t eat enough or exercise. I just got my exercise bike yesterday so I started doing that today.

I have a bit of weight to lose. I want to get healthier and leaner. So, I’m starting slow. My first challenge will be to loose this 5 pounds and after that, I’ll think about the 10!! My personal goal right now is to loose 20 pounds in the near future, so 5 is 1/4 of the battle!!

Finally, over the weekend of doing soul searching; I decided that my night-time routine is just too difficult to find time to exercise; but I said, fine if I can’t do it @ night, I MUST be able to do it in the morning.

I got up and went to the gym. I did the cross-trainer and then bike for almost an hour.

I found this challenge, looks like it can be accomplished, so for my first challenge, lose 5 lbs. Thanks gang.

I Lost 10 Lbs! I Lost 5 Lbs!

I have a lot of weight that I want to lose. I thought that starting out with small steps would be a good way to start my weight loss. I want to be healthier and get leaner so that I feel better about myself. Although I keep saying that I am going to lose weight, it seems that I just keep gaining every time I say that. I want to lose the weight for good this time. I have lost weight before by tracking my calories, so I know that it works if I will just stick to it. So good luck to everyone….we can do it!!! It is not easy, so it sure helps reading everybody’s post for support.

Does any one have any tips for losing 5lbs for people who don’t HAVE to lose weight, but would like to drop a few for an important event? I’ve always been in great shape and I’m on the lighter side, but I’d like to shed 5lbs for a wedding in March. My problem is that I can’t easily lose 5lbs that fast. Any advice?

I Walked 100 Miles! I Burned 5,000 Calories! I Lost 5 Lbs!

Guys, I am trying to lose 5 Lb. Its the last 5Lb that i need to lose, but my body doesn’t want to do it. The weight stabilized and is not coming down,. I am exersising more and eating less. Any suggestions?

Today is day one after a long time off due to a hip injury and surgery. I have missed working out & need to build up again to return to spin and full weight training. I need to shed 40 lbs. Here’s to a new me starting with the first 5.
