Most Dedicated Conqueror u da man A beginning I Did 1,000 Pushups! I Lost 10 Lbs! I Lost 5 Lbs!

With my current routine my reps are as follows:
8, 7, 6, 6, 8 with the weights used being 80, 90, 100, 100, 80 kilograms.

So I suppose if I want to improve my max then that would be 100 kg to 110kg ( 220lbs to 242) although I suspect I may be able to go to 120kg (265lbs).

I Did 1,000 Pushups! Fat Loser

Did 1×265lb on 12/31 but have only done the equivalent of just below that for the last three months. 10% more would be 291.5 but I want to try for 1×300lb since my goal is to make the 300/400/500 club. It’s a long way for me to make the squat and deadlift… but I’m not in any hurry.

Speaking to my dad last night and his old max of the deadlift was 500, so I want to beat him :P. Pushed 110kg today for 6 reps, so up 10% on last week :)

Tricep-All American

Hey guys. My bench is low but I’m going to push to increase that weight over the next few months. My 8 rep is around 115 lbs. I got 155 lbs 8 times today but that was using the Smith Machine.

Currently on 60kg (130lbs) for 5×5, aiming to get up to 65/70kg (145/155lbs) for the same amount in 3 months.

@BlackDawn,

Have you tried lifting more for 5 or less reps because that helps you build strength quicker. Using 8 or more reps tends to help build muscle endurance. Once you build strength, you can usually go back and do high reps with a higher weight than before. I like 5×5 (5 sets of 5 with 1-2 minutes rest between).
