Not a problem, I know how loosing the progress may suck for many especially those who may actually get the motivation from being competitive and now not being able to win the challenge may discourage them.

@Sassicane, thanks I appreciate the comment. Today actually marks my 1 year milestone in my lifestyle change and I am so siked that I havent failed completely. I fell behind and gained some weight during the holidays and that is why I created the challenge as well. =)

I am starting over this year. Last year was pretty much a complete waste for me as far as weight loss goes. I lost a total of 38 pounds in about 4 months. Then struggled to keep the weight off for a few months then put it all back on + 4 pounds the last three months of the year. So I am trying again. I just want to start one year with out a new years resolution to lose weight.

I am in the same boat. I lost 36 but gained back 32. I am not dieting this time but instead eating healthy and doing 5km a day. After this month I will get back to weight training as well. I am aiming for 145 lbs but that is still 45 pounds away.
I lost a lot with Weight Watchers but I found that I was eating a lot of junk. Any “lifestyle change” that thinks Cheez Whiz and Diet Coke is okay but almonds and avocados make it so you can’t eat for the rest of the day, isn’t cool with me.
I have really changed my attitude about food this time and I feel good and see the weight coming off. I am absolutely not dieting again.
I like using Daily Burn and I am very glad that I am tracking not just calories (or points) but trying to aim for a balance between carbs/protein/fats/calories. I try for four green checkmarks each day:)
I am quite competitive so the challenges are perfect for me.
I also like checking out other people’s progress as it makes me feel less alone in my struggle to become fit. Especially when I see dramatic weight losses that have been maintained. I feel that it is possible for me too.

Ughhh… I know what you mean about changing your attitude about food. I have depended on food for far to long to be my cure all. Whether I was sad, stressed, mad, bored or even happy food was there for me. But I have to find something else.Hopefully exercise or any type or physical activity can take the place of the food that used to comfort me. So far so good, its only been 11 days though LOL. To put it quite frankly I am just tired of being fat. I don’t want to start 2013 with a resolution to lose weight.

Great… Another user with a drastic input in which puts us all behind, lets please ask Frank kindly to leave challenge as 11lbs may be a great overall sucess but can not be inputted in a as a sudden drop after joining a challenge that already has the ball rolling. Looks like he is rejoining DB which is great and tootles for him. =)

I don’t mind as long as its real. The other one was a bit annoying because it was 220 pounds which was obviously a mistake. The challenge only started 3 days ago. According to his activity it says he joined this challenge 3 days ago. If his weight loss was less than 5 pounds would you be asking him to leave? You didn’t ask me to leave the first challenge when I lost 11 pounds. Not trying to be rude I just don’t see the problem and I don’t think its fair to ask him to leave the challenge.
