Hip-hop Dance

Hip-hop dance is an excellent full body workout. This includes a wide range of styles notably breaking, locking, and popping which were developed in the 1970s. Many of the hip-hop movements involve popping the pelvis forcefully with the abs, so this style of dance is an especially great for isolating and toning the abs. Whether practiced alone, in a class, or with a dance team, this style of dance is fun and competitive.
