Description
Whether you need to relieve some stress or want to relive a Rocky Balboa moment, punching a speed bag is an excellent cardio workout that also improvs hand-eye coordination, quickens reflexes, and increases arm strength. A speed bag is a small punching bag that hangs vertically, with the fattest part of the bag at mouth level. Stand facing the bag with your feet shoulder width apart. Hold your fists slightly below chin level with your shoulder squared to the bag. You should be far enough away from the bag so that it will not strike you on the rebound, but so you only have to extend your arms a few inches to punch the bag.
