I also like the simplicity, but is there a report feature to see how one has performed over time? Topic: Feature Discussion / Water Tracker |

Merci mille fois Thank-you – very kind, I am winning (versus myself) and determined to complete this challenge. I did not receive the private message but no rush if you have not yet sent it, cordialement |

hehe, ;) I tried to add my year to date distance from the challenge screen , but then learned that it added this as a new work out. So I deleted it. I’ll start from zero then and it will be challenging! Merci, my first GymBuddy, thanks again for the help cordialement |

There is a long thread with people asking for a mobile interface for something other than the iphone. FYI – I’d suggest to all those people to still try the following link on their phone I have a Nokia N95 8GB and the online functionality works quite well for me. I can easily add food, update weight, etc So if you have a web enabled phone, why not see if it works Topic: Support/Help / Mobile Interface works on my non-Iphone |

JuryDuty Thanks for that Vista Sidebar idea. It is using the same mobile web link and should be transferable to lots of different sidebars / start pages. Gyminee – there is an easy – and currently missed – opportunity here ;) You already have a functional and pretty good mobile / gadget / sidebar / start page interface. Instead of labeling it “iphone” when it is not even a native iphone app …. why not develop a tutorial on how to add it to lots of places – for example it works great on my Nokia …. and I only learned by fooling around with the iphone link. I would guess this would get you a new user or two. Once tutorial exists then include it in your “tour” of Gyminee features.
PS – you even have current users saying they may quit without a mobile interface for their phone …... and it already exists …... Topic: Support/Help / Mobile Interface works on my non-Iphone |

I either override the “time” function for ski days or use my own calorie estimate as the calorie estimates for downhill skiing are a bit overstated if you don’t delete time on lifts. PS – XC skiing as workout and in challenges please … before winter ends ..; Topic: Feature Discussion / Snowboarders Unite :-) |

I think this is a good suggestion. And – along with the recent discussion to let custom items default to private – important to stop the food search function become a cluttered nightmare. Topic: Feature Discussion / One-Time Custom Food |

Here is what is happening I believe (as Calvin explained): When you enter a custom food, you must enter calories, carbs, fat, and protein. Let’s say you enter something with the following: 1 gram fat = 9 calories Therefore the total should be 17 calories. But if you then enter the total calories as 34 (for example) then Gyminee doesn’t understand where the extra calories come from so it calls it “other” “Other” basically represents an error by the person who created the food. Some other programs will give a warning message before accepting a custom food like “the total calories should be xx based on the details you entered” Make sense? |

I think it can be whatever you want it to be. It doesn’t appear in any reports. (btw – there should be a report for this!) I think of it as 8 oz Topic: Feature Discussion / Water Tracker |

If my items are editable then there MUST be a private item function …. because I wouldn’t want anyone editing my stuff because they think they have a similar item. Topic: Feature Discussion / Make nutrition repository more Wiki-like |

I have found that the hardest part of working out in very cold temperatures is getting out the door. Once you get started it is usually a lot of fun. Topic: Fitness and Exercise / Cold Weather Running |
