I don’t really do very well with this. I’ve found if I take a day off, for exercise or diet, it’s very, very hard to get back on track. Topic: Diet and Nutrition / day off of diet helps metabolism? |

On not needing to go to places where they’ve labeled it low-fat or “guiltless”: I love local restaurants, and we have a lot of them here. What I do is find a comparable item when I’m entering nutritional information. Most restaurants cook about the same way, especially with salads, rolls, soups, baked items, etc. (I’m in the business.) Unless you’re concerned about every calorie and every gram of fat, it won’t matter much. And if you’re concerned about it being worse than you think it is, guess high. You definitely deserve it! Do what you feel is best; your health and well-being are more important than a challenge. Topic: Fitness Challenges / Chariots of Fire - The Sequel (NOT REALLY PRIVATE) by witeowl |

I actually have the opposite problem, and maybe what I’ve done can help you. I gained 80 lbs over three years, but I still see the old me. So, in order to see the new me, I’ve looked for people on this site who are at the same weight I am and looked carefully at their pictures, telling myself that this is what I look like now. it hasn’t been a quick fix and doesn’t always work, but at least emotionally I’ve adjusted to it. Lol, maybe I should start running twice a day to keep up with you two. :P I’m doing straight running now (just walking for the remainder of the 30 minutes to keep up duration) so I should start putting on miles soon. I did 12 minutes straight yesterday and was so excited! Still, it’ll be weeks before I get to 2 miles like you two are doing! I won a lot of challenges accidently (according to the site, I had lost 70 lbs in one night!). It took two emails, a forum post, and a little bit of being belligerent, but I got them removed and the challenges reinstated. Just be patient and keep contacting them directly; don’t use the forums. Well I only work out for 30 minutes total right now. :) Upping it to 45 a little later but right now I have performance obligations, unfortunately. Still, that weight is finally leaving, which is consolation enough for dropping to third. :P Topic: Fitness Challenges / Chariots of Fire - The Sequel (NOT REALLY PRIVATE) by witeowl |

I got that with my body fat % in another challenge. it’s just being buggy. It should correct itself next time you enter the information. Topic: Fitness Challenges / Birthday (Suit) Challenge by witeowl |
