Yup same here for me. I was curious why it wanted me to go work out at 2am haha. This is in Gcal. Both DailyBurn and Google are set to Central time. |

Just checked it with Thunderbird/Sunbird… the times are correct, but some of the days are incorrect :/ So odd. Probably just a Sunbird issue since it’s not the most stable thing on the planet. I’ve never seen this before though. update I think I figured it out. It wasn’t off a day, it was just screwed up. It is scheduling the exercise starting date, even if I didn’t check that weekday. And it doesn’t count the ending day, so if I have a workout on the 20th, and tell it to end on the 20th, it’ll show the last workout on the 19th, and nothing for the 20th. |

This would be awesome, and +1 for the Polar F6. It seems to be a popular one. |

Main thing you need to do, is to not make excuses for yourself. Most people talk themselves out of living healthy before they even start. Buy a mini fridge, some bread, some milk, and some deli meat. Low sugar yogurt will curb any hunger. It’s honestly cheaper to eat this way too. Topic: General Discussion / College Exercising and Eating Tips =/ |

Honestly nobody cares or makes fun of others at the gym, unless it’s just trash talk on the court or whatever. Just start slow so you don’t burn yourself out and you’ll grow to love it in a week or two. You’ll feel like a whole new person. Pay attention to what your trainer says. It’s not rocket science, but if you incorrectly use a machine or over exert yourself, you’ll hate it and your motivation will go out the window. Bicycle crunches will destroy you, and won’t disturb your neighbors. I’d just make friends with whoever is under you and let them know you’ll be noisy for 30 minutes. Chances are they won’t care. Topic: Fitness and Exercise / Cardio in second floor apartment |

When they say “quite challenging” they aren’t fooling around. On day one they want you to do 1200meters worth of sprints, 80 pushups, and 38 pullups. Yeah that’s not going to happen for me. It’ll get there though. There doesn’t seem to be any type of “build up” into the workouts. It’s just “ON. GO. DIE.” Topic: 90-day Fat Burner / General Discussion |

Aside from mixed drinks every now and then (yeah yeah), I have cut soda (and fast food, but I didn’t eat much of it anyways) out of my diet since July of last year. I felt better, my skin got better, and I lost roughly 20 pounds since then with somewhat minimal exercise. It can’t be a coincidence. Honestly it just doesn’t taste good to me anymore. Maybe it’s mental since I now know how much better off I am, but they taste bitter or too sweet now. Topic: Diet and Nutrition / Have you stopped drinking soda since you joined DailyBurn? |

This is a great training plan. Well balanced, and realistic for starters. Leaves you feeling great, although the tris and chest… I recommend starting off with low weight if you don’t want to hurt for days. Also, this requires more gym equipment than a decent apartment gym will provide you. I had to substitute some exercises with free weight alternative. |

It’s completely personal, but if your goal is to buff up a bit like most guys, it’s pretty simple. Try to cut out sugar, and be sure to get your recommended protein intake. That’s really over simplified though. The nutrition feature on here is pretty accurate, and it now adjusts on how much you workout and what your goals are. I recommend making full use of it. If you really want to get serious, talk with a nutritionist about your goals and they’ll blow your mind. And your wallet, haha. Just starting this one today… glad to have finally found one that I can do at my apartment gym. |

How do you like it so far? I couldn’t find a topic about it. I’ve thought about upgrading, but since I’m grandfathered into a quarterly pro gyminee account, it would be a 400% increase in price for me and if I didn’t like it, I would lose my gyminee pricing going back to a pro account. Honestly I wouldn’t mind paying 25/mo if it’s worth it, since it’s still less than a gym membership, but I haven’t seen any reviews. I have a few tats, and I’m right there with you. Once I hit my weight goal, I’m rewarding myself with some new ink. In my opinion though, unless you speak the language, don’t get it tattood on you. I cringe when my friends get kanji but have no clue what it really says. That’s something that teenage girls get for their first tattoo in my opinion. No offense, after all this is coming from a guy with tribal tattoos haha. If you don’t want english, find an artist that can say what you want it to say without words, you’ll be much happier since it will look tons better. But of course, it’s what YOU want. Who cares what it looks like when you’re 70? By then tattoos will be so mainstream (pretty much already there except in the eyes of the 40+ crowd it seems) that nobody will care. Plus, you’re 70. I’m pretty sure at that age you’re a big boy, and do what you want. Also, it doesn’t hurt that bad as long as you have a good artist that goes too deep (which will scar, I have one like that). The worst I’ve felt was on my ribs. I’ll admit that wasn’t pleasant. |
