I Lost 5 Lbs! Ultimate Caveman Meat Lover

What are your favorite strange healthy breakfasts? You know, the kind where you just raid the fridge for something, ANYTHING healthy to eat?

Here is mine:

2 bananas, 2 scoops almond butter, a sprinkle of dried coconut chips, mix like hell. Gooey caloric goodness.

I Lost 10 Lbs!

I tend to make up and have some Egg creations pre made.

then I go to the fridge in the morning toss those and some fresh broccoli on there on top of a 50 calorie Corn Wrap. Nuke for 30-45 seconds… Slam it with some HOT SAUCE…to help spark the metabolism and wake me up… Followed by a large glass of water to cool my mouth… 2 mins of time invested.

If I am in a hurry and don’t have 2 mins. 1 banana, 1 scoop of protien and 250 ml of milk and a teaspoon of Peanut Butter.

Don’t know if this qualifies as a hack, but I love this version of premade oatmeal:

1/2 cup thick rolled oats (I used Bobs Red Mill or Wessex)
2/3 – 3/4 cup Silk Coconut Milk (depends upon how “runny” you like your oatmeal)
1 – 2 tablespoons of dried fruit
1 teaspoon unsalted almonds or pecans or walnuts
3 – 5 shakes of Garam Masala

Place it all in a microwave safe container and let sit at least overnight. Place in the microwave in the AM for 1.5 – 2 minutes. Completely awesome and amazingly satisfying.

I think that the hack here is that you can make this up ahead of time and let a few bowls sit in your fridge so you almost have “instant” oatmeal, but tastier. And periodically I have to give away a couple of bowls to my workout buddy and people at work. It is good!

My sister makes trail mix cookies with only a little sugar in them. I don’t know that they would be considered too too healthy, since they do include butter and white flour in them but when you have no time to cook in the morning a tasty cookie with nuts and dried fruits in it sure hits the spot.
