I was just wondering what some of your favorite breakfast meals are because breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I’d love to hear different ideas, so maybe I can incorporate a few into my routine! Here’s mine: 3/4 cup of oatmeal I know it may sound simple, but its tasty and nutritious. Plus its a 315 calorie meal! |

My favorites are bran flakes topped with natural yogurt and a banana (or summer fruits when in season) or scrambled eggs on toast. |

I have the same breakfast every day, pretty much… 1/2 cup of oatmeal (uncooked measurement), handful of blueberries, 5 egg whites and one whole egg. Depending on what I am planning for meals that day and whether or not I’m trying to lose weight or maintain weight, I throw in a banana or an orange. |

Breakfast for me is most of the time a 450 grams of low fat quark with 25 grams of whey stirred trough it. That gives me a boost of protein until about 10 am when I take another light meal |

I like to have 1 egg on 1 slice of 100% whole wheat toast with 1/2 TBS of butter. Simple, good mix of carbs and protein and tastes great. |

I eat (almost every day) Dave’s good seed bread, a dense whole wheat bread with tons of seeds (flax, sunflower…) toasted with peanut butter topped with one half an apple sliced. It’s quick, easy and tastes good. |

I always either have : The toast and eggs meal is a bit higher calorie than my other breakfasts, but it has tons of protein, and the extra fat from the yolks and olive oil means I don’t get hungry for hours. So it is a good breakfast to have when I’m won’t have the time or opportunity to eat my next meal for at least 4+ hours (short of hitting a fast food place) |

I’m usually still some what asleep when I make breakfast and headed of to the gym, so my breakfast is pretty easy. On Sunday when I have more time I make Whole Wheat pancakes (from Clean Eating Magazine) and top them with blueberries. |

My new favourite is 1/3 cup cooked oatmeal with cinnamon, a little bit of vanilla, a banana cut into it and mixed with 2 teaspoons of peanut butter. Someone suggested this to me on a Makeup Alley forum and I thought that it sounded yucky. But I tasted it and wow! Not only does it keep me satisfied for a good three and a half hours, but it tastes so good too! |

My favorite thing to eat in the morning are breakfast burritos… 2 corn tortillas (heat the tortillas in a dry pan before scrambling eggs) Super yummy and quick! |
