Does it make sense to swap lunch with dinner so that I have my main meal of the day at 1pm instead of 9pm to give my body more time to digest it? |

My view is it doesn’t matter when you eat. It’s really a question of what you feel best with. There are those, however, who believe that eating in the evening when you are less active is not the best idea. It’s something that’s never worked for me though. |

I think that eating based on your schedule and activity levels makes the most sense. If you are more active during the day, you will need more calories during the day. Plan your meals based on you and your schedule. |

Hi Matid, Food combining guidelines recommend a 3 hour break between dinner and sleeping – do you regularly go to bed past midnight? I usually eat lunch as a bigger meal than dinner. I’m hungrier then, I get the energy I need to finish the day and I sleep more easily when my stomach isn’t full. |

I love the idea of eating your heavy meal during the day. I’m sure you burn it off a lot easier at 1 instead of 9. And yikes, 9pm? I’d consider eating a little earlier unless you go to bed late. |
