50 years ago, it was almost unheard of to have a doggie in the house. Most doggies were fed scraps, and lived in doggie houses lined with straw. There were no special doggie diets, doggie sweaters, doggie day care, or doggie shrinks to help out. How did the doggies ever survive to this point? |

If you lose weight quickly, you will gain it back quickly plus more. Cutting calories without exercise will cause weight loss, not fat loss. You will lose muscle and slow down your metabolism. You are worth the time and energy to do this right. I’m a vegetarian too and love the Clean Eating philosophy. |

Well if you really want to lose weight quickly then you should hit the gym as well as follow a very strict diet plan. If you do it in a hurry and without anyone’s guidance it may prove harmful to your body. I think you should just join a gym so you can lose a bit of weight in there and also you can consult a dietitian for a healthy diet plan. |

perhaps bc of your use of kilograms and incorrect spelling of vegetarian, you are from a foreign country where there are dowries and arranged marriages and whatnot and you actually do need to lose this weight out of a true necessity for your marriage if thats the case, i think this very very unhealthy cutting regime will keep you alive (do so under your own caution and only after you see a real doctor): *0. quit your job and any recreational activities that do not involve physical activity. this is very urgent and should be your number-1 priority. if you have a job, maybe take a maternity leave (corroborated by your actual wedding) and say afterward that you had a miscarriage or abortion. This may seem barbaric, but to an American sounds no worse than urgentally weighing a bride before a wedding. Hopefully, this isn’t life or death… 1. in morning drink protein shake with 0 carbs and 0 sugar (google Promina kind, like for bariatric patients) – ideally the non-flavored kind bc artificial sweeteners might trigger an insulin response 2. mid-morning eat a piece of really healthy bread like maybe Ezekiel bread. toast it and eat it with cinnamon, sugar, and the least amount of coconut oil it takes to put those on it (like 1-2 g) 3. lunch – only vegetables, cooking on skillet barely greased with olive oil — make sure to eat nutrient rich vegs (for example, not corn or potatoes. kale, brussels sprouts, maybe carrots and peas) and get alot of fiber. eat a few beans here (not dinner) if you want. season with spices that are nutritious, like maybe herbs. eat a couples g of chia seeds each day too for your needed fatty acids. 4. track the vegetables and beans on this website nutrition tracker. track your calories you burn day to day or get an average (google this, buy a meter, or use this site somehow idk how to), take ~50% of that as your caloric intake of vegetables and beans in step 3 and 5 5. dinner – leftovers according to calories desired for that day (very very little oil, no refined sugar ever!) btw if you accomplish this, you will have the fortitude and skills to be a healthy vegetarian once you are done cutting weight… 6. at night, take metamucil or psylliium fiber, a fish oil pill, half a protein shake, and the best multivitamin you can find, that also has iron (many leave it out). be sure to sleep as long as your body wants! 7. follow 1-5 every day for the whole month. run as much each day as makes you sweat and feel a little uncomfortable, tracking your burnt calories like we said. the more running and calorie burning you do, the more fat will be metabolized. This is the only way you will lose the fat-weight btw. Also, you can jump rope and hula-hoop. I’m not a doctor and don’t know at what ratio your body is going to be burning calories of stored fat vs. consumed food for any of these activities. That is up to your metabolism. In addition to burning calories, more exercise will be stimulating this metabolism. Ideally, maintain a light sweat ALL waking day (this is VERY urgent isn’t it!): jogging, jumping rope, hula-hooping, or cooking and eating your vegetables. If you need a break, google around for all the healthy vegetable dishes you can eat again after your weigh-in. Make sure to be sweating and uncomfortable at all times, but not to the point you feel sick or you might die. *8. take a thermogenic pill mid-morning with your toast. google “thermogenic” and get a kind of expensive one that has good reviews. I think they are supposed to help adjust the metabolism ratio we talked about. **9. if you find yourself getting hungry, take a stimulant like caffeine. if you live in a country where they have stronger stimulants, they might lighten your mood too. but, be very careful combining stimulants with the thermogenic, do so with much care in a controlled environment with small doses. both will be messing with your body. 10. buy a blood glucose meter (like for diabetics), a heart rate meter, and a blood pressure reader. monitor these vital signs often to make sure you are not hurting your body too much with your meager diet. the directions should say what is the minimum healthy measurements. Also get a scale that has body fat and %H20. Steps 8 and 9 are particularly risky and dangerous. **11. If you are taking the stimulants (or even if you aren’t), they will dehydrate you, along with your sweating, which you are doing all day because this is very very urgent. Use this to your advantage. In the beginning of the month, drink as much water as you want. As you approach your wedding weigh-in, drink less and less water. Make sure to not have brown pee or register too far below what the %H20 scale says in the directions is appropriate for your body and gender. In the final days, drink as little water as you can. Water is heavy, and if you really need to lose this for some kind of ritualistic custom where you are actually weighed, will be the best way to lose the weight. Stop taking the thermogenic and stimulants and instead take a diuretic like cranberry juice or a stronger pill kind. Make sure to rehydrate, possibly with IV, before your honeymoon. If you lived in the US, and only weighed 167 lbs, you could just try be a vegetarian that mostly eats vegetable and skips desserts, while exercising a little more, and I’m sure in a month you would lose about 5 kg (10 lbs) but look much better and healthier than following the steps above. Although it might be a good experiment to try if it truly is very urgent, and I personally think it would work and not hurt you long-term. Heck, you might get down to 50 kg! Much luck :) N.B. This regime may or not help lose 33 lbs of fat and water (esp. not all fat, if you intend to be beautiful and hydrated for photos around your wedding weigh-in) in one month. I have never done it. It’s merely a fictional diet that I would follow if I was faced with losing 33 lbs in a month or dying. That said, just drinking a protein shake every day for a month would probably mess up really really bad, and could quite likely make you weigh even more. |
