I am 42 hrs old. My oldest child is 19 years old. I lost that belly in a few months. I now have a four yr old and a two and a half yr old. I am soooooo tired of people asking me. If I am pregnant again. No matter what I do, I can’t seem to loose the pooch. It embarrasses me a n I used to be skinny and wore skinny clothes. Now I just wear tops that hide my pooch. So people still think Im preggers. I have worked out, changed my diet and cry a lot. I think it’s a combination of my age and some genetics. Help

Unfortunately there is no way to completely lose the mommy tummy if you have stretched skin (only surgery)…but you can improve it by doing strength exercise – build lean body mass (you can’t spot reduce) and Cardiovascular. If you lose body fat…it will also help. You should try to lose as much weight as you can first, then if that fails…if you want a taut stomach you have to go the surgical route. I have 2 babies…20 months apart…with the first my tummy went back to normal, after the second…my skin stretched more…and I have this pouch when I lean over – mostly skin. (I use to have a six-pack) I’ll wait until I’m done having kids to do surgery personally. I don’t eat very clean or work out…so I’m going to try that first…good luck!!!

Also it’s better to lose weight slowly (1 lb a week)…so that your skin can recover from being stretched…
