I’ve been walking a lot the last couple weeks and have restless legs that prevent me from falling asleep or I’ll wake up around 3AM with restless legs that are borderline cramps/charlie horses. I’ve been getting up to stretch my calves and relieve those awful feelings but I’d really like to just sleep through the night again. Does anyone have some pre-bedtime gentle stretches, yoga poses, or other ideas on this? |

you might want to take more potassium and eat bananas |

Have you tried doing a few stretching exercises after your daily walking, this might prevent the muscles tightening during the night. |

Hi, I have got something for you which may help to get out from this problem. http://www.paininkidney.com/how-to-best-stretch… . You can do this in Morning & Bedtime also. |

Thanks gang. I’ve bumped up the magnesium and potassium, drink plenty of water, and do calf raises. I’ll try some of the other stretches. Even cutting back on the walking I’m still getting up at night, though not as often. |
