Probably the one that you find most fun to do. So try out many things and find what clicks for you. – Even if you know what the “best” cardio is, it would be silly doing it just for that reason alone if you find some other cardio that is more fun. Unless you are super serious. |

I agree, find what you will enjoy or stick with. Consistency is key and you aren’t going to do something you don’t enjoy. Good cardio can be running, walking, cycling or calisthenics. It just depends on you and your fitness level. |

The cardio that I enjoy is running on treadmills. I use the Program to challenge me and keep it entertaining. I have really enjoyed my Sole F85. I would suggest any of Sole’s products for cardio workoouts www.soletreadmills.com |

I love doing Cosgrove evil 8’s as my cardio. Does not have to be heavy weights. |

I think the best cardio exercise is rope jumping, i also do rope jumping daily because my father says 15 minutes of rope jumping is equal to 1 mile running. Good luck! |

High intensity kettlebell training. At 34 I can still get my heart rate up to 198bpm with intervals of heavy swings and kettlebell snatches. 10 minutes of hell: 30 – 40 sec of heavy swings, 20 seconds rest continue for 10 minutes…. Use the heaviest kbells you can and increase weight as you get stronger. It will destroy you. If it doesn’t you haven’t tried hard enough. You can also try the secret service snatch challenge – 200 kettlebell snatches, 24kg kettlebell, 10 minutes. One of the toughest things I’ve ever done. |

Personally, running is my thing. I love it. I use cycling and swimming as cross training and skiing in the winter. But I agree with the above poster, find what you like and what you will stick with. That’s your best. |

Anything that gets your heart rate up and something you can convince yourself to do when it comes workout time. For me, running on the treadmill with the highest incline I can going the fastest I can for maybe 30 minutes is usually the most intense. But I love road and mountain biking, Running through the trails is a blast. I take my dog up to the local park and we run sprints together and she absolutely loves it. |

At the moment I am running but I used to do martial arts. That was always a lot of fun and never felt like exercise. Got very fit (almost 20 years ago!) |

Best Cardio exercise is the one that is appropriate for your current fitness level. Don’t be influenced by crazy “challenges” and cookie cutter workouts. Develop a progressive program. Sure, KB snatches are great, but a lot of people are lightyears from technical proficiency while performing the SSST. Just my opinion. Push a sled, ride an Airdyne, swing kettlebells, run a hill/stairs, Versaclimber. All of these things will get you results and leave you feeling gassed. The question is what is appropriate for you? “Link Text”:http://fatlosschronicles.wordpress.com/ |

I have to agree with one of the previous replies. An elliptical trainer can give you an intense cardio workout, while offering you a low impact workout. Several studies have suggested that the combined upper and lower body workout burns calories more efficiently. Which makes sense since you are exercising more muscle groups simultaneously. I found an excellent site where you can get Elliptical Trainer Reviews |

I love sprinting. I was in the Marines but still never liked long runs. I usually throw the football(american) around, running WR routes or actually play pickup games at the park, which is something that my health insurance probably wouldn’t approve of. A MMA style gym opened up near me and I know they always have good methods for cardio. |
