How long is too long? If I’m not doing cardio, so say strength training / sit ups / push ups / etc … will the muscles be worked differently if I take a mid-work out break and then do more moves later? |

It depends on your goals. Short bursts of training can be effective, especially when beginning a program. Are you knew to strength training? What are your goals? |

goals are losing a little weight (5-15) but mostly toning up. I’m following the p90x program. The videos are all 60 minutes (90 for yoga) and sometimes I’ll do 30 minutes or so and then take a 5-10 minute break to do things around the house and then get back into it. |

As per your goal you should also take best protein bars for your pre-workout. |

I am somewhat familiar with the P90X program and I believe their programs are designed a certain way to get the promised results. Generally speaking, breaking up activity during the day can help you meet your weight loss goals. Doing activities in segments through out the day can be a good way to keep your metabolism moving. I think there is a P90X group here, you might ask others on the program if they have done what you are doing and what their results look like if they are doing the same thing. |
