I can’t seem to figure out what I’m doing wrong. I’ve started doing cardio almost every morning before work, and eating mostly the right things yet I’m hardly losing any weight! I drink water constantely ALL day long, and still nothings changed. I’m really at a standstill and getting frustrated because I feel i’m doing the right things then I get on the scale and feel I havent accomplished anything. Is there anything you guys can suggest to help jumpstart the weight loss process enough to lose about 10 more pounds? |

You could try eating more, but smaller portions throughout the day to keep up your metabolism. You could also try increasing how long you do the cardio for as to really get into the fat burning, also strength training does help with losing weight, as the more muscle mass you have the more calories you can burn. |

I looked at your logs and I have two pieces of advice. |

Be eating fat burning foods you will burn more calories than are contained in the food. When you go on a diet and eat less food your metabolism slows right down and you can actually gain weight. So I am not cutting any food and follow dieting. |

PamelaH is right…you need some weight training (more consistent weight training). Cardio gets the heart pumping and is great, but weight training is an excellent way to lose the weight. Your muscles will actually continue to burn calories even after the workout is over as they are repairing and building themselves up. I had to actually switch my weigh in day because I realized my Friday workout was affecting my Saturday weigh in. I actually weighed less late on Saturday (after meals) than I did straight away in the morning because my muscles were still recovering. If you’re going to use the site and ask for help, then USE THE SITE…you’re missing a lot from your logs. I’m sure there are more than a few times where you cheat, and tracking everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) will help keep yourself accountable. When you see the numbers add up, you will realize where you need to cut back and what things you should be cutting out. |

Lizagill keep your spam to yourself. Wallock 4: pills are not the solution stick to what pam and others have said. Eating right and exercising is the best option for healthy maintainable weightloss. |
