I can’t seem to figure out what I’m doing wrong. I’ve started doing cardio almost every morning before work, and eating mostly the right things yet I’m hardly losing any weight! I drink water constantely ALL day long, and still nothings changed. I’m really at a standstill and getting frustrated because I feel i’m doing the right things then I get on the scale and feel I havent accomplished anything. Is there anything you guys can suggest to help jumpstart the weight loss process enough to lose about 10 more pounds?

You could try eating more, but smaller portions throughout the day to keep up your metabolism. You could also try increasing how long you do the cardio for as to really get into the fat burning, also strength training does help with losing weight, as the more muscle mass you have the more calories you can burn.

I looked at your logs and I have two pieces of advice.
First, cardio alone isn’t going to get you where you want to go. You need to add some form of weight training to your exercise plan. If you are new to weight training, I would recommend a full body circuit twice a week to start. This will help fire up your metabolism by adding some lean muscle, which is a more efficient calorie burner than fat.
Second, if your nutrition log is even remotely accurate you aren’t eating enough. The pizza and other overly processed foods have to go. Focus on consuming lean protein, whole grains, fruits and veggies, low fat dairy and good fats. Cut out fast food and high sodium foods like canned soup (too much sodium can cause bloat and water retention).
If these are ’the last 10" pounds, they are often the hardest. You have to be smart and focused about how you eat and train.

Be eating fat burning foods you will burn more calories than are contained in the food. When you go on a diet and eat less food your metabolism slows right down and you can actually gain weight. So I am not cutting any food and follow dieting.
Drink 2 liters of water a day. Yes you will pee a lot for a few days or a few weeks depending on how long your body takes to adjust. The benefit of drinking all the water is losing water weight as well as flushing toxins from your body and helping with hunger.

PamelaH is right…you need some weight training (more consistent weight training). Cardio gets the heart pumping and is great, but weight training is an excellent way to lose the weight. Your muscles will actually continue to burn calories even after the workout is over as they are repairing and building themselves up.

I had to actually switch my weigh in day because I realized my Friday workout was affecting my Saturday weigh in. I actually weighed less late on Saturday (after meals) than I did straight away in the morning because my muscles were still recovering.

If you’re going to use the site and ask for help, then USE THE SITE…you’re missing a lot from your logs. I’m sure there are more than a few times where you cheat, and tracking everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) will help keep yourself accountable. When you see the numbers add up, you will realize where you need to cut back and what things you should be cutting out.
