Hello, I have been a member of this site since last year when it was Gyminee. Today I upgraded to premium after a nasty shock weight wise. Despite significant dietary and exercise changes I had put on weight. On the plus side, I found out my fitness level is excellent; with a resting pulse rate only 6 beats over athletic fitness. I am technically nearly obese. For more information, please visit my blog article: Fitness and weight loss tips and update on personal progress Constructive comments and advice are welcome. Thank you. I look forward to getting to know people on here. (I am on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia). Alex |

Read your blog Alex. Sounds like you’re on the right track. I don’t know how good, or not, that diet that you’re on is right now, but the information from the website sounds like they’re fairly reasonable (though I’m too cheap to pay for a diet program. -_o ). The important thing is that you’re feeling more healthy and capable as a person. An RHR of is 63 bpm is great and is already an indication of your success. Kudos! You probably know this already, but you might find entering your foods eaten on DB helpful towards your calorie/diet goals. Your motivators can then encourage and advise you when you have trouble reaching your goals. PS. What are you going to do when Montenegro decides to enforce its TLD? |

Thanks for your comments and encouragement WSteven. I have the food entry part of DB on the back burner for now and may not use it at all. As far as I know, there are no issues pending which will affect policy. Do you know something I don’t? The .ME domain administrator even encourages a wide variety of registrations: http://www.domain.me Go Daddy, the world’s premier domain registrar, is run by Bob Parsons, who recently shifted his personal website from a .TV to a .ME (www.BobParsons.me). Presumably Bob Parsons would not have moved his website if there is likely to be a problem. Any insights you have will be appreciated. If you prefer, you can email me at alex@alexwebley.com. Thank you. |

That was only a suggestion. If you have another means of tracking your calories that works for you than you’re more on top of things then most people. I never tracked calories before and even with DB I find it tedious at times; it just makes it easier for me to do so. :-)
No, I’m not aware of any pending issues. It’s just ICAAN had set up .ME as a country specific domain. It’ll only be an issue if Montenegro decides to enforce it as such (assuming that Montenegro exists as an entity in the future). Mind you, ICAAN is not the only authority when it comes to TLDs, but they do carry a lot of weight. See INIA: Country-Codes Top-Level Domains |

OK, thanks for the further info WSteven. Yes, I have another means of dealing with the calorie issue. And yes, tracking calories is indeed tedious; and time consuming. |
