I Lost 50 LBS! I Lost 10% I Lost 35 Lbs! I Lost 20 Lbs! I Lost 10 Lbs! I Lost 5 Lbs! I Lost 5% I Lost 10 Lbs!

1) The forums are dead.
2) The forums are full of link-dropping spam and DB has done nothing about it.
3) The groups are full of spam
4) The DB team has no interest in improving the site.

5) I discovered Fitocracy, which has an active community of users who are there to grow and help each other out, not just to use it as a place to drop links.

See you on the flipside folks.

I Lost 5%

I tried loseit for a while, but the food database seemed much smaller than DB tracker. I had to come back to DB tracker, because 99% of the time i’m able to find the foods i’m looking for. I wish it got more attention, and more support. Maybe i’ll try fitocracy, the main thing i enjoy about DB tracker is the large food database, and the tracking of cals, carbs, prot, etc.

I find it’s a large food database, but most of the results are NOT what i’m looking for.

On top of that, there is so much variance on the breakdown of foods, even the same food can have 10 different calorie break downs, so which one do you use?

There should be an officially approved section, so you know you’re tracking the right things.

some links people post are actually useful and answer questions that you might not be able to describe or explain otherwise.
