I think a healthy way to approach this is to think about whether or not you have a healthy reaction to stress in the first place. If not, there’s lot you can do to retrain that reaction. Check out http://www.lifewaves.com for more information about retraining your stress reaction, and controlling your health.

Just a start. I Lost 10 Lbs! I Lost 5 Lbs!

I have depression and anxiety, and I have found that much of this can be controlled through diet….high protein, low fat and sugar is the best, with some complex carbs. There are quite a few books out there on the subject. Exercise is also a wonderful natural anti-depressant. I find that if i dont exercise for a couple of days i quickly return to ‘depression behaviours’ such as comfort eating, mooching around watching TV and takeouts (when i’m doing well I LOVE cooking!). as to making your life stress-free, learn to say ‘no’. Work out what is a reasonable workload at work and if you’re regularly exeeding the time this should take speak to your line manager…suffering in silence is the fuel for mental health difficulties…when in doubt talk to someone and you’ll feel much better supported for it :)

Thats my take anyway, I’m sure others will have valuable suggestions too! :)

I couldn’t agree with above baby_whippet any more. I find that a very clean and nutritional diet coupled with cardio and weight training help keep me positive, energized and stress free (well …. less stressed anyways.)

Stress is one of the main reason of most of the diseases like mental disability, hair falling, etc. One should avoid stress as much as possible. Always keep smiling and live longer.

My name is Ron and I’m 26 years old from Toronto Ontario. My life were simply great until I started suffering from hair loss recently.
My hair is thinning and my appearance is less attractive. There are currently medication in the market for preventing hair loss but they all have severe side effects like hurting your sexuality. Don’t know what to do.
