I just cannot match IronDave! I managed 300 push-ups (press-ups for us Brits) today over 7 sets. And he’s usurped me again! Well done to IronDave! (and everyone else for that matter) |

Done… took me 2 days, my chest is a bit painful, so are my arms… but I’m glad I did it! I did a challenge with my self last year where I did 10 000 push-ups in 25 days. It was 500 push-ups a day almost every day. Every time I had 5 minutes, I would do 50 to 100 push-ups to get to my quota. |

I tell you what, that was hard going. Haven’t done that volume of push-ups for a while. My last couple of sets were not enjoyable… My knuckles are sore as anything (I perform them on clenched fists rather than hands – less strain on the wrist and slightly deeper push-up) |

I do 5 sets of 25 incline pushups. Then I do 5 sets of 25 at different hand positions. Then finally finish off with 5 sets pushups to muscle failure. |

I figure that if you increase your reps by 5 each week, should hit the goal with in a month. I’ll let you know;-) |

You guys (and girls) are machines, but I’ll get there yet. How IronDave and DaddyBoy were able to finish this in 2(?) days is beyond me… |

I can’t do many push-ups at the moment, but…I’m doing P90X and it involves a lot of push-ups, so why not challenge myself! |

I’ve got my own push-up program in progress. I’m on 240 reps a day along 8 sets. Each week I increase it by an extra 5 per set so tomorrow I’ll get another 240 completed and then it’ll rise to 280 (35 per set). It’s murder!!!! |

I did a chest workout today and thought that this would be a good challenge to complement my chest and arm workout. It’s resulting in kind of a slow pace for reps. My goal is to do finish by May 14. It’ll be tough. |
