This challenge came at just the right timing! i was just thinking that I needed some sort of motivation to lose weight. :) |

I am looking forward to getting a fresh start with this new challenge. Everyone likes a prize at the end of the hard work and accomplishment. |

So we don’t start the weigh in thing until the 17th right? Just checking. We do our weigh in like the night before. Good. |

Yeah, you can’t officially weigh in on the challenge page, but it would be OK to go ahead and shoot the video and get it up… I think we will get a lot more people (and motivation from others!) if we start up the videos before the 17th. Thoughts? |

I’m so excited…I’m going to be making my video this weekend. I don’t have the resources to be fancy, so don’t expect Schindler’s List or X-Men. I have so many reasons to lose the weight, with declining health and an increasing inability to work and function…well it’s more of a neccessity than anything else. I’ve struggled with my weight for the last 21 years, since 6th grade. I’ve seen my weight climb to over 567 pounds, then I lost weight to get down to 430 to have the gastric bypass surgery, then a year later I was down to 350, followed the next year with being up to 460…now 5 years since my unsuccessful surgery I am at 420. I think that Gyminee/DailyBurn will be the “Perfect Storm” of information, tools, support and accountability to foster the success that has eluded me with various programs in the past. If only I had found it sooner, I would have saved all that money, time and physical scars! |

modestoluke: Glad you are here! I look forward to seeing your progress! |

Ok, so here I go. This is my first time ever making a video, I used the video feature on my camera, I hope it will be sufficient. I have been on a lot of diets in the 25 years I’ve been obese, and until recently I’ve only hurt myself. But now, my family is at stake, as well as my very life. The gastric bypass surgery didn’t work for me, neither did 15+ diets…but I must say that I have a really good feeling about this! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7Dxk9g-O9g My starting weight is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6hkVpRQDlM I have also started a blog at myfinaldiet.blogspot.com, which I think will help me stay accountable and well, cathartic, for what that is worth. My goal is that I will share on my blog, generally from my Iphone, rather than eat. NOTE: My ineptness in making videos came through. The voiceover was cut over in the first version, I fixed it and re-uploaded it. |

Sweet, I’m just starting P90X, which is a 90-day program! |

I just wanted to thank everyone for viewing my video. I’m amazed at how much traffic it has gotten already. I’m not sure if it’s worse making something that nobody watches, or the embarassment that comes from sharing so much with so many people. |

Well I did a quick shot video and got it up – did this before I lost my nerve to actually do it. It lacks a creative edge.. lots of big ideas but no time to get it all done. |

Here we go, my weight loss video! Since the birth of my 8 month old, Violet, I’ve been so busy with her that I’ve been neglecting myself. This is just the kick I need to get my butt moving! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60YvYPt-FL8 Good Luck to all! |

Took me a while, but I finally got around to getting my video created, and uploaded. Not much to say, apart from best of luck to everyone! You might notice some similarities between my video and Bellatrix’s, I can guarantee it has nothing to do with the fact that we’re married. :) |

Hell yes! Can’t wait! I’m hovering at 265 right now, down from a high of 280 a couple of months ago. This comes at the perfect time. |
