This is only a fair challenge if you’re being honest about the work you’re actually doing. There is no way someone could travel 17km in 45 minutes and only burn 470 calories. The numbers just don’t add up. |

I´m totally being honest about my records and I keep track of my burned calories with a properly adjusted Polar heart rate monitor againt my age, height, weight, gender and athletic condition. But make no mistake: I´m not here to prove anything to you nor to anybody but myself. And I couldn´t care less If you believe in my honesty or not. If you think this is an unfair challege you can quit at any moment. I know I won´t, cause I´m not a cheater. |

Then I recommend that you get your equipment calibrated because what you’re putting down doesn’t make sense. |

@SugarMolt: I just want to say to you that I agree with you that there a big missmatch between the training load of that particular workout and the amount of burned calories. Now I will say this again: I´m not cheating and I´m really busting my ass. Perhaps it was just a mistake, maybe I forgot to input the amount of burned calories for that particular workout and dailyburn took the last input by default. There may be other reasons as well that come to my mind. Also, I recognize that not taking others opinions and feelings in to consideration is even wrong, so my previous comment about not caring a damn was totally out of place. So please accept my apologies for that. I´ll take your recomendation and get my heart rate monitor tested and calibrated just in case, and challenged against other heart rate monitor from other brand. PD. Sorry for my bad english |

Just started on the Elliptical on Oct 26th. Going great so far but seems many individuals aren’t updating stats? I’ve also noticed that this competition automatically accounts for only 1 session for the day. I do an hour with with the full-body workout, rest & stretch then another 30 minutes of high intensity leg workout I made up on it. |

It only shows the latest entry in the “Recent Activity” section, but it does count up multiple daily workouts in the total. Personally, I have a hard time believing that you did 123.07 miles on 22 November. |

My gym has LifeFitness elliptical trainers and the value they have for distance is reported as: 2.7 km / mi Could I get a more useless representation of distance please? How do I tell what the number is? I know it’s either miles or kilometres but I find the slash to be especially unhelpful. At 2.7 (whichever) it reported I burned 414 calories. Until I find out, I’ll assume kilometres. |

^^ we have similar ones at my gym but they are calibrated to be miles i know that i personally burn about 400 calories doing approximately 3 miles and it takes me 28-30 mins depending on the time, i would say its miles bro. |

I thought this would be a quick and easy journey. Almost 4 months in and still not close. Can’t wait to keep it at when I get home. |

When I started this challenge, it pulled from the first day I started which was Oct 18th. I could give a crap of what you believe. The scale says i’m down 42lbs since I started this journey so…? Going to break 400 before leaving this Saturday. |

Gah! I’ve been doing this challenge for over a year and a half now. My gym membership expires this month so I’m not going to finish it! |

Ah that stinks. Sorry to hear that SugarMolt. My goal will be to catch up to you before you get a new gym membership! |

“It only shows the latest entry in the “Recent Activity” section, but it does count up multiple daily workouts in the total. That was most likely the number from when I started the Elliptical on this site to actually joining this Fitness Challenge and inputting it. |
