OK. I sure hated getting on the scale this morning. Good news is I had to fast last night and this morning for a blood test today. Bad news, a friend has invited us out for dinner tonight! But, I am thinking that I will try to go back on my slimfast diet – replacing two meals a day. Going to try that. Wish me luck! Remember – it’s all about less calories. Exercise helps, but as my doctor informed me, low calorie is pretty much the only thing that works for women. Bummer! :-) |

Low cal is boring! But it does work…hang tight at dinner tonight, be good during the day and enjoy in moderation. You can do this! |

Nice job Tisha – you are off to a great start!!! Can you believe I have another dinner this evening with friends who just moved here. At a burger & beer sort of place. Geez. So, I have a plan. I am going to have my slimfast for dinner before I go and then not eat at the restaurant. just have a glass of wine or something and visit. I have not started really exercising. I have been walking more each day whenever I have to go do something I walk instead of drive. But I haven’t done an actual “workout.” Maybe I will fit that in today or tomorrow… |

Don’t pay too much attention to my weight – it’s heavily influenced by varying degrees of water retention courtesy of the steroids. I’m just plugging away hoping that someday it will stabilize and show some results. Good plan on dinner, but what about just slimfasting it during the day and having a kid size burger at dinner. That way you’ll get to join in the fun of eating? |
