I’m just going for a 12-14lb one this year. Hoildays are stressfull enough. |

That’s what I’m shooting for too.. about a 13 lbs one would make me happy! (I’ll be under 300 in 12.8 lbs) |

I just Goggled several sites, they report the avg. turkey weight is 15 lbs, but i typed in thanksgiving turkey and I guess this is after it is cleaned. |

Yeah, I guess I should have mentioned that was pre-butcher :) 15lbs is not a bad goal either! |

fair enough, my kids came for a visit for a week vacation and i’ve been eating a lot more with them. going to have to step it up as well to get back in gear. |
