I Lost 10 Lbs! I Lost 5 Lbs!

Is there any interest in pulling in data from Garmin and Polar watches?

You have to have this functionality in place by Christmas because I suspect Garmin Forerunner products will be on a lot of Gyminers lists – including mine! :)

Definitely. I can’t seem to find a way to pull info from my Polar watch to my Mac anyway, so this would be absolutely incredible.

Absolutely! I was actually coming to this forum to request precisely that. In fact, any additional analytical tools you can add to help users slice and dice their workout data would be quite valuable and appreciated. Graphs that show trends and comparisons would be sweet as well.

This is at the top of my Gyminee wishlist. Garmin’s “Connect” web app is verging on awful, even though it has so many useful metrics. Since Gyminee is my primary diet/fitness tracking resource I would love to have my detailed workout info in one place.

I Burned 25K Calories! I Burned 5,000 Calories!

Thanks for the feedback! Please continue to speak up if you would like to see this feature added. Also, be sure to note the model and make of any devices that you own/use.

Garmin Forerunner 305. The other online software that I pay for is motionbased.com The site stinks. It’s slow and often non-responsive and has no support for diet whatsoever, and to be honest, even if they added it, it would be of limited value due to the sites uptime limitations.

Thanks

I’m using a Polar F6, which somehow transmits data through your speaker/microphones with a series of beeps – kind of like a fax machine. Hope that helps!

Would love to see this functionality added to track everything in one place. I use the polar S725X.

I also have a Polar F6. I love that thing, and it would be nice to use it with this site. I’m pretty sure that I found Gyminee after buying it because I wanted a way to track my data, so it would be nice to have that functionality.

You can use iSmartTrain to download from most Polar HR watches (I have the S725X) and you can even do this without registering the software.

However, it doesn’t appear you can upload to here.

I’l probably stick with Training peaks until I can upload from my Polar Watch and my Garmin GPS.

I would really love to be able to upload data. I use a Garmin Forerunner 305 to run and a Polar CS200 to ride. The garmin exports data in a common format so it shouldn’t be that hard to parse.

I’d love to see support for the Garmin forerunner 405 and the suunto T6/T6c series of fitness computers, as they’re my top two devices for serious training, especially thanks to the EPOC calculation of the T6.

At least a way to integrate the data manually would be great. It would be my reason to “stay” in “pro” mode. I use my HRM consistently and not using the comprehensive amount of data gathered by it seems a little wasteful. Yes, polar HRM integration.

YES! I have garmin 405 and use fitday.com and the garmin training center and am testing out using this site to replace both… Would purchase the pro for that functionality

I use a Forerunner 405 – it would be really fantastic to have a better alternative to Garmin Connect. That and an iPhone app would make this perfect … definitely something I would pay for.

I Lost 20 Lbs! I Lost 10 Lbs! I Lost 5 Lbs! Slim Jim Top Contender

I was going to +1 this, but I am going to change that. I would like to see this functionality, but if gyminee has to prioritize the feature requests, I think there are tons of other “easier” to implement features that would up the usability to gyminee. Since I can’t delete my post, I edited it.

Garmin Edge 305 and 705, but I think an iPhone program should come first. It would be great to have soon though. Another option would be a plugin for sporttracks that automatically syncs with Gyminee.

I would highly support this. I’d even be willing to willing to donate the TCX parser in whichever language you are using for the site if that would be helpful.

I’ll throw a vote in for the polar rs800cx.
It would be great if you could also support the suunto t6c. Seems from other companies that have tried to build software support for hrm, that Suunto and Garmin are hard to work with. There are external packages that support polar. I can’t speak for specifics, but am commenting on blog posts on other sites.
