Please add Martial Arts/Karate as cardio possibility. Also, there should be a calorie burn estimator. Te current system is not good as I can’t estimate my own burned calories. |

So, Gyminee will estimate calories for you automatically as you track your exercises. If you want to enter this data in yourself, you can do so under the “Advanced” options when you are inputting your exercise progress. As far as adding Martial Arts, your request is noted. In the meantime, you can always add them as custom exercises to your workouts. |

I was just looking for how to add Taekwon Do to the fitness activtiies. I have no clue how many calories I burn in an hour and 15 minute workout, so any help in estimating how to capture patterns, sparring etc. would be most helpful. |

I practice martial arts, Kung Fu to be specific. Does anyone have any tips on how many calroies this may burn? The sessions last approx 90 mins, we have an intensive 25 min warm up consisting of push ups, crunches, jogging, stretching. Followed by sparring and practicing. |

Hello there, I practice Kendo and Iaido, the first is the one that actually could count as a Cardio activity, as the latter is more slow and meditation-like martial art. If you want to calculate aproximately what calories you burn on martial arts, here you have a form that does the calculation, I know that personally I am burning about 800 in a 1.5 hr Kendo Session. |
