It would be great to have the Nike+ data integrated with Gyminee. I really like how I can just plug in the nano and see my results. Is there some way to link the Nike+ account with the Gyminee account? Bien |

We plan to allow integration with many types of devices before too long :-) |

Hi. What’s the progress on this? |

Integrating with Nike+ isn’t first on our list, so little progress has been made. For integration, we are currently working with Garmin devices, and then we will branch out from there. The only way we have found to pull in Nike+ requires it to be uploaded to the Nike+ website first, which is not ideal for us. Another issue is whether/not Nike will officially support any type of device integration. |

I see. Well I might enjoy Garmin integration more anyway. :) More off-topic.. Is there somewhere we can follow what features you are working on for Gyminee? |

I’d love to see Polar integration as well. :) |

Right now the blog (blog.gyminee.com) is the best way to keep up with new/upcoming features. Which devices will be initially supported is still TBD, but our goal is to support as many as possible. @Chillax, Polar would be 2nd on our list after Garmin. |

StephenB said “The only way we have found to pull in Nike+ requires it to be uploaded to the Nike+ website first, which is not ideal for us.” Then how do you explain the success of http://www.runnerplus.com/? I think they even have a widget that uploads your data. |

I have not tried runnerplus.com before. From reading their website it was not clear to me if that data was pulled directly from the Nike+ device, or if it still needed to be uploaded to Nike first. Has anyone tried this out? |

Yeah I’ve used it once. It doesn’t need to be uploaded to the nike server. Their widget somehow pulls the data directly off the ipod. So the data that is uploaded to runnerplus.com does not show up on the nike website unless you do a sync in itunes. |

That’s interesting that they pull the data directly from the device. I’ll try to look into this further. |

I have a Nike+ and I’d love this too. I’m also thinking about getting a BodyBugg or FitBit – do either of these integrate with the site? |

Hi Stephen, not sure if this thread is still being monitored, but even a simple link to the badge on Nike+ would be great in our Gyminee profiles, eg.
Edit: looks like the code pasting gets a little pruned here, but you get the idea. |

Hi. I would LOVE to have nike+ integrated with daily burn. Please all you nike+ users out there, add your support to this topic! We need a critical mass!! |

Thumbs up on this. I recorded my warmup run today using my iphone’s nike+ application, and then went on to the weights. It’d be nice to have all that data go to one place. |

Count me in as wanting this one too! Nike+ and Dailyburn, match made in heaven! |

I checked out runnerplus and they sync with nike plus at a time you specify (every 24 hours at midnight) so it stays up to date. They have obviously found a way around the issue. You can pull off the data from runnerplus into a csv file. If you could import csv files to daily burn that would help also?? Nike plus have so many users now Stephen. I am using nike plus more than I am daily burn now because of the great features. But if my nike free data was able to be imported I would start using daily burn more because it has the extra features. I love daily burn but my running is my priority and I only have limited time to spend entering data twice….. I also have polar gear, which I am also using less and less because I can’t use the data from it anywhere and Polar is not mac friendly. |

It’s been a little over a year and a half since this thread was started… Are there any updates on supported devices yet? The biggest impediment to using daily burn is the time it takes to input data, so I’d like to get a device that has daily burn support to further automate my tracking |

Updates? Do you think DB even touched it! Aug 15, 2008 – StephenB – We plan to allow integration with many types of devices before too long :-) Exactly where does a year and a half fit in comparison to “before too long :-)” on a time line? Perhaps, somewhere between “in-a-minute” and “when Hell freezes over”? |

it looks like DB has set up a new system for questions and comments since this thread was started… i started a “conversation” over in the support section – maybe it would help if you all piped up over there too? :) |

Thanks Str0ngbad. I tried to add to your link but couldn’t. I think the lack of integration is very disappointing and I won’t be continuing with Daily Burn if they don’t add Nike+ integration. I am sick of having to double enter all my runs. And since I have used 2Do and other applications I am realising how clunky Daily Burn is becoming! If Daily Burn can’t keep up with the times…..then I am not going to bother. Nike+ has soooooo many users. Come on Daily Burn! |
