I Burned 50K Calories! I Biked 100 Miles! I Burned 25K Calories! I Lost 5 Lbs! I Burned 5,000 Calories! I Lost 10 Lbs! I Lost 5 Lbs!

I just upgraded to Gyminee Pro. I first have to say I love this site and have been recommending it to everyone I know. I have a question for anyone who knows…I would like to watch my daily vitamin intake for various vitamins (lets say Vitamin D or B6). Just to see the ranges.

Further is there any way to customize the food groups on the right side of my nutrition log? I am a vegetarian so seeing how much meat I eat in a day is useless. Where do these calculations come from. I entered a Kale recipe for instance and that didn’t count toward any vegetables. Thanks all!

If I remember correctly, the food groups on the right side come directly from information in the USDA foods only. They cannot be customized, unfortunately, but I think the devs plan them to be in the future. (As well as they plan regular foods to count toward this group in the future.)

I would love to track this stuff, too, especially be able to overlay my graphs so that I can see if, for instance, I have better workouts when I have more B6.

If you add a food and note that it doesn’t show up in your food groups, you need to go into the meal planner, add that food in the meal planner, and then click on the question mark to add information about food groups to that food item.

They are working on a way to make that easier.

The “meat” category is meant to track your protein, so it is still relevant to you as a vegetarian. I can see, though, why you don’t like it being called “meat” in that case.

Personally, I never hit the goals for grains, because I tend to get the majority of my carbs from fruits and vegetables, and eat only whole grains once or twice per day (not 5-6 times). It doesn’t bother me, because I know that I deliberately eat that way. Plus, I can see it counteracted by how “over” I am in veggies.

i really feel tracking vitamins, minerals and even animo acids is necessary and should DEFINITELY be added to DailyBurn AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

FitDay.com has this feature and adjusts accordingly to your daily caloric intake. I have to use that site in order to make sure I get proper amount of vitamins daily. And the fact I have to switch sites just to use that feature is incredibly annoying.

This feature should be a high priority for developers as I know it is in high demand for DailyBurn users.

Anyone know if they are getting anywhere on adding this feature?
