what the heck just happened to Gyminee?
|May 26, 2009 1:56pm||
i have been using this during the day and now it seems like the culprit of a hostile take-over and rebranding just within the last few hours. what has happened? what has changed? What has stayed the same? i would have expected some sort of comunication, especially for pro members who purchased subscriptions. Any info is better than none.

Sorry for the lack of communication. Same team, no takeover… The biggest feature change is the new graphs on locker room…

I agree that greater communication would have been appreciated. Call me paranoid, but I was a bit wary of entering my password into what appeared to be a different site. A mass e-mail announement would not have been unwelcomed. Of course, seeing as how another massive rebranding is unlikely, this is all moot.

@witeowl: great suggestion.. I am going to add a link to login now so people know it is Gyminee with a new look :-)

To gather feedback, we just created a post entitled " DailyBurn in Launched" in the Feature Discussion section in the Forums.
Tell us your thoughts on the new changes.

Hi guys. A question: how to I change my weight in the “my locker room” graph, if I entered it in wrong today? For some reason it is displaying a number a few lbs off from what I entered in today on the old Gyminee website. On the old site, there was a button to click to change previously entered data, and I can’t find that button now. Thanks

Hey passionfruit, you can do so by visiting here. Hmm, that page needs a bit of design work, but it should still function properly.

StephenB, that page still exists if you go straight there, yes. But I can’t find a link to it anywhere, and apparently neither can passionfruit. That’s a problem.

dianebl: we are adding a link back soon…
|May 27, 2009 1:42am||
@dianebl: The link has been added and will show up on the site with our next push, sometime today. It is in the chart checkbox panel under the body metrics list as a link called “Edit My Entries”

Is there a way to delete a goal?
|May 27, 2009 2:41am||
I second ambertides… Entering nothing in the boxes doesn’t delete the goal (nutrition goal) simply makes them both 0.

I see it – thanks for adding it back. One comment though is that the combination of the placement and smaller font make it really hard to notice. Even thought you told me where to look I skimmed right past it at first. People who don’t know it’s there might not be able to find it. I predict a lot of “how do I change …” forum questions in the future.

I understand what you’re talking about, witeowl. I clicked on Gyminee in my bookmarks, and I got Daily Burn. I thought my computer was messing up, and tried it several times. I was in a panic. It kept asking for my password, and I thought, I’ve never been to Daily Burn. Then I thought, oh, “they” took over Gyminee, because Gyminee knew my password. So I had to have it send me my password via email, which was a new password. I was happy to find that…what I thought was “the new people”, kept all our challenges, workouts, etc. So now I’m happy again. :)
