Personally, the first thing that I will do when I get down to the weight I want will be to go to the beach, and actually swim in the water without wearing a shirt! Then I will proceed to show off my kickass happy-dance right there in the sand. It involves doing the worm and some breakdancing. Might add in a MJ tribute or two for effect. |

Clothing shopping spree! I’m tired of ugly clothes that don’t fit right, then salsa dance lessons. |

Shop for clothes too – I make sure it is something expensive enough so it is an incentive not to put the weight back on!! |

I’m going to gorge on chocolate cake until I make myself sick. Just once. =) |

Saw someone mention getting a tattoo before and I thought that sounded like a good idea to keep as a reminder. Also buying new clothes & going to the beach for sure! |

I’m definitely getting a tattoo—probably a Chinese character meaning joy. |

I think I’ve got to agree with you hurry_shaun – I’m definitely going to head to a beach and for once be proud to walk around in shorts, rather than hiding under a baggy t-shirt! Not so sure about the happy dance – maybe I’ll leave that one to you! Dunno about a tattoo either, not sure what I’d get or where I’d put it :P I’m also tempted to reward myself by doing something a little outside my comfort zone: either take some singing lessons or a photography course (two things I love doing but have never been taught properly) or maybe try a new sport like basketball (I was always the last to be picked in team sports so it would be nice to try and change that tradition…). I suppose we’ll have to wait and see when I get there! |

I really like the tattoo idea – I already have two small ones, but a special one to commemorate the achievement would be great. I don’t know what it would be either, but I have some time to think about it since I don’t even know what my final goal will be yet. I’d love to go back to Jamaica; I spent a lot of time in a sarong / beach wrap when I was there last January – not again!!! Clothes shopping is a given, and will pretty much be a necessity anyway. |

Well, when do I hit my goal… I set up another one (probably harder to reach than the one I just reached). So I don’t really have time to enjoy it and I might actually even start to thing about my next goal while I haven’t quite reach the current one. When I come to thing about it, I’m not sure that so good, becaus I always feel like I’m not where I want to be…. |

Clothes shopping definitely but in particular a really expensive bikini & a great holiday to show off all the hard work. |

The tattoo thing sounds interesting. Just something of a reminder. I don’t know if I’d really do it, it would have to be small. |

First thing? Get back on the scale to make sure I wasn’t leaning out to lessen the weight! :) I expect to get to where I want to be (220) by May 1. As we are going on a cruise in early June and will spend time at the beach, every day that goes by where I am not rolled back into the ocean by overzealous people trying to save the great beached whale, I will have a drink. |

First thing? I think I will buy a nice suit (custom tailored) and treat my wife to a fancy night out at the symphony and five star restaurant. That would be a nice ‘thank you’ treat for her and a big deal for me as I currently don’t feel very comfortable dressing up to attend a fancy night out… |

I wrote down my goals/rewards for different stages, but my final one is this: 1. Full day spa package :-) |
| Jan 18, 2010 2:25pm |
Clothing for sure! I like the idea of a happy dance :-) ( Just not sure that I am that bold ) If I win this week I get to drag him to the pool for an hour every night next week ;-) |

The Tattoo thing… Oh yeah it really sounds great, but… I got a Tat to commemorate me quitting smoking… For 4 years what a source of pride and accomplishment, until I picked smoking back up, now it is my badge of shame :( heh heh, I have a new tat on my back that i have to lose some weight before I can get it finished, since my blood pressure was so high the artist coulnd’t finish it, that will be my celebration, to actually have that piece done, only 40 pounds to go for that… |
| Feb 22, 2010 7:40pm |
Bikini shopping. (: I’ve been stuck so long in one-pieces, and then tankinis, usually with a stupid little skirt because I hate my thighs so much…but that’s allllll about to change. And, wow, tattoos…you know, I want one, but I don’t want to be stuck with it forever. Definitely not. |

I got my belly button pierced and planted a 1.5 cwt diamond in there. I was 50 at the time . . . . |
| Feb 23, 2010 10:28am |
I’m gonna walk around with confidence and finally be able to wear the clothes I want to wear and not worry about my flab hanging out or what people might say about me! |
| Feb 23, 2010 12:03pm |
I am going to follow IronDave’s lead. When I hit this goal, I am going to set another goal right after it. I am going to reward myself with a long bike ride with my wife. :) |
| Feb 23, 2010 1:59pm |
Matilda444, you sound like FUN!!!! |

The -30 lbs goal reward will be a belly button piercing. Then when I’m a size 14, it will be a shopping spree. No more men’s t-shirts from Target! |

I like the tattoo idea… but the only drawback is the NEEDLE! LOL |
| Apr 5, 2010 11:08am |
i’m on the tattoo boat. i’ve got two different ones in mind—one for behind my ear, and another is just adding on to the one on my shoulder. i’ve put them aside for so long. the addition onto my shoulder will be a reward for meeting my goal for sure! i’ve also thought about a pair to go on the sides of my feet, but i’m still debating that one! i have two tattoos already (@AFinTraining…neither of which hurt)! :) the one on my shoulder has several meanings—it’s a phoenix, but in general, it is a reminder that i am & will always be a ‘work in progress’. constantly encountering hurdles, burning through them, and coming out stronger & better. the addition to that tattoo that will be my reward will be to add some flowers by the flames, because i always believe that out of the chaos & darkness, you can still find something beautiful. |

@walkinlooove – I love the meaning behind the phoenix, it really hit home to me, and has inspired me for my workout today, thanks! |
