Yes, it’s not the coffee that makes you fat! It’s the cream, flavored syrups and whip creams. If you pick one of those loaded drinks up every day on the way to your desk job, it is definitely going to be difficult to maintain a healthy weight!
But I agree that we don’t have to give coffee up! I started drinking coffee to get me away from all the soda I was drinking. I also found that a hot cup of coffee mid-morning, with some warm nonfat milk in it, filled me up better than a soda and chips, a muffin, or whatever else I was having. I know its probably just that it is warm, and the milk is filling, but if it works, then, hey! Earl Grey tea is great, too!
