I don’t know how many gamers we have but I would like to know which system you have and what’s your favorite game on that system. I will go first:
Xbox 360: Mass Effect, Resident Evil 5
PC: Fallout 3, Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction

This would take awhile to list them all.. maybe later, I have pretty much every system :)
Favorite console system is probably either the Dreamcast or the 360
Favorite game – Mario Brothers 3 even though I’m not very good at it

I’m mostly a PC gamer and currently playing Oblivion! I also play table top games, my favourite being D&D.

@ TheAng – I’m a little jealous. I love the 360 because it rocks as a gaming platform and a media center extender.
@bobski – I love PC gaming (especially good RPGs) but right now it seems like there isn’t much on the horizon, with the exception of WoW and Diablo 3, which I just found out isn’t hitting shelves for at least another year or so..

I use the 360 almost entirely as a media center system, rarely play games on it any more. Love netflix streaming!

bobski: Snap! D&D? I haven’t played that in over 10 years! Of course, I haven’t played any tabletop RPGs in that amount of time either, and I refuse to LRP. My favourite tabletop RPGs were the Whitewolf systems and GURPs. :-)
wykedengel: my current systems are two consoles (PS/PS2) and my oldest daughter has a Nintendo DS Lite. My favourite console games used to be Spyro the Dragon, Final Fantasy and Gran Turismo. However, the past few years my girls have been taking over my gaming consoles so I hardly ever get a chance to play on them anymore. :-(
I also have a bunch of old DOS games that I occasionally play (when my girls don’t take over) on my PCs running OpenBSD through the miracle of DOSBOX.

@WSteven: I initially started off playing 3rd edition rules after years of persuading by my fiance. We’re now playing the 4th edition rules and it’s so much fun. We run our own campaigns and have an awesome story line going on at the moment :-D Occassionally, if the campagin is still being made, we play older campaigns made by Gygax; we’ve just played Tomb of Horrors!
Up until recently I had a 360 that I used as a media centre. It was amazing :-)

Super Smash Bro’s Brawl for Wii
Tony Hawk games for Xbox
Left 4 Dead/Halo/COD for 360
Legend of Zelda Majora’s mask for N64
Battlefront/Skate2 for ps3
I honestly don’t play many video games. ;) But just at friends houses, etc!

@bobski and @baco_bacon if you like Oblivion then you should download “the Lost Spires” which is an awesome mod that was created for it.
As a PC gamer, I absolutely adore mods. They extend the playability of my favorite games for years.
My fave games are the Thief series and the Neverwinter Nights series. Thanks to mods, I’m still playing new games, years after the last release.
Oh, and in the interest of full disclosure, I voiced one of the characters in Lost Spires, so surely my opinion is biased (but the reviews of others are awesome, so give it a try anyway).

@lizanneh, NWN was a pretty solid series. Reminded me a lot of Dungeon Siege 2, which is a good multiparty RPG for the PC.
@baco_bacon – Left4Dead rocks! I cannot wait for the sequel, though i hope rumors of it being pushed back until next year aren’t true.
@marcelovieira – with the $100 price drop on the system, I am thinking about the PS3, if for the blueray player.
@WSteven – Final Fantasy VII, X, and X2 are among my favorites in the PS2 realm. Did you ever play Legend of Dragoon? Sounds like you’re a *nix fan also (kudos).

@Lizanneh, I’ll look into that mod. I love adding mods to my games :-) I have yet to do the main mission in Oblivion!
Left 4 dead and Fallout 3 are so much fun :-D

bobski: I haven’t seen the 4th edition rules yet though I’m on the official D&D Web Site right now. I’ve heard that they’re very similar to GURPs.
@WSteven – Final Fantasy VII, X, and X2 are among my favorites in the PS2 realm. Did you ever play Legend of Dragoon? Sounds like you’re a *nix fan also (kudos).
wykedengel: I’ve played FFVII, FFTactics and I have the FFIV&V anthology. Never did make it past FFVII though as that’s about the time I was getting my second degree while working and raising one then two then three kids. :-)
As for Legend of Dragoon; no I haven’t played it though I know about it. One of my brother-in-laws talks about it a lot and seems to be the kind of game I’d like playing.
Yep, I’m quite happy with Unix, though my wife laments the lack of native Flash support in OpenBSD for some of her favourite FB games. Stupid flash! :-)

I’m oldschool. Favorite system is the Gamecube and the favorite game is a tie between Zelda: Ocarina of Time, MarioKart: Double Dash and the original Fable on PC. Unfortunately, I haven’t gamed much in the last four years and have pretty much had to give it up. Darn school. :P

@flutinkat Tried to get into Zelda, but left Link for the Prince in the Prince of Persia games. Also, RE4 on Gamecube is awesome.
@WSteven, Legend of Dragoon has one of the most beautiful endings in gaming. I think you can find it on You Tube if your curious.
Flash, yes, while a distro like Linux Mint handles it pretty well, it is still a thorn in the world of BSD and Linux.
@bobski I might have to check out D&D, I see that it is still very popular. I thought my dungeon running days were over after the mid 90s as it seemed everyone turned to consoles and PC gaming. Tabletop RPGs really help people use their imagination creativity. Heading to the website now.

Xbox 360: Halo, Madden
Xbox: PGR
PS3: Uncharted
Wii: Wii Sports, Zelda
DS: Puzzle Quest, Mario
iPhone: Flight Control
N64: Perfect Dark
PC: COD4, but it changes regularly.
Sorry for the list… I’m kind of a geek when it comes to gaming.
In regards to the D&D… I played DDO for quite sometime on the PC and loved it.

Anyone playing Defense Grid? I just picked it up for Xbox 360 when it came out and it’s great fun! I really like tower defense games, and this one is the most polished of the subgenre.

Ooh a video game topic :)
I’m primarily a PC gamer, because it has far more online capability.
PC – MMORPG: World of Warcraft and Fallen Earth (oh and pre-CU Star Wars Galaxies)
PC – FPS: Call of Duty World at War, Left 4 Dead, and of course… COUNTERSTRIKE SOURCE!
360: COD4 and COD: WaW, Gears of War, and any other competitive fps.
Favorite game of all time though? Goldeneye for the N64.

I remember Goldeneye and I have a little story about the first time I played. I was at a friend’s house and they decided to play and wanted a fourth player – they talked me into saying it would be “easy” and that I’d have fun. They proceeded to hunt me down and shoot me as much as possible. I never had a chance!

World of Warcraft is single-handedly responsible for destroying my fitness/muscle progress a a couple of years ago and consuming on average 10+ hours a day without fail. Yes…it’s that addictive!

My favorite system is the Nintendo 64, so many great games.
My favorite game though is Chrono Trigger for SNES. I’ve played it so much I could play that game with my eyes closed
