I’m one of those that needs to see quick results. If I don’t, I don’t seem to stay motivated. Everything seems to be a distraction. Any suggestiongs? Most of the problem is within the first 2 weeks.

try setting small goals, so they are more easily achieved.

Find something that lights your fire!
What I mean is, when I first started I wasn’t too motivated to workout at all. Never was. But I started watching Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Ya know what? I saw those guys and it got me all pumped! I was lucky… I found my special motivator.
It can be a whole field of things. Think, when are the times you feel like you want to get up and move. When you hear dance music? After watching a romantic comdey? After doing… that other form of excercise… you know…
Anyways, throughout your day keep track of your mood and make sure you start by eating healthier, otherwise you won’t have the energy to even feel like wanting to need to excercise. No, that wasn’t suposed to make since.
Light your fire!

I know it is really hard to stay motivated sometimes. You know something that really helps you see results is working out on a elliptical. I have a Sole E35 and it is great. It gives me a full body workout. www.soletreadmills.com

Make it fun… make it easy…. if you make it seem like a “it’s something I should do” you will quit.

I see you’ve earned rewards from DB – so how about rewarding yourself – my reward is allowing myself to listen to an audio book when I walk … I can only listen to the book when I walk (workout) … it usually works that when I start to get down on myself, the book starts to get to the interesting part – so in order to hear more, I have to walk. It works for me, I know you’ll find something that works too.
