Join the Muscular Dystrophy Association (www.mdausa.org) in its First Annual MDA Million Pound Challenge commencing on Friday May 18th, 2012

The MDA Million Pound Challenge is a fundraising campaign centered on raising money and awareness for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, in hopes of bolstering its efforts to cure neuromuscular diseases. Participants in the challenge, sponsored by the donations they collect from friends, family, coworkers, et al., pledge to lift an accumulated 1,000,000 pounds over a two month period beginning May 18th, 2012. The challenge, then, is essentially two-fold: lift 1,000,000 pounds while simultaneously raising as much funds as possible over the length of the campaign. The campaign will promote wellness and physical activity through improved fitness habits/motivation for the participants while supporting families served by MDA in our community via increased awareness and raised funds.
Please join the campaign by registering for Team DailyBurn! Registration is easy:
1. Visit https://www.joinmda.org/mpc2012/TeamDailyBurn and click the red ‘Join My Team’ button
2. Follow the step-by-step registration instructions.
3. Select “Team Gym Rats” if prompted.
4. Complete the registration form (There is no fee for participating in this event)

Once there, you can also find information regarding the free online tracking tool to keep track of your progress throughout the campaign. Furthermore, you can support Team Daily Burn by following the link above and clicking on the blue ‘Donate to my Team’ button.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association’s slogan reads, “Make a muscle, make a difference”; with your effort and support, you can make a difference in the lives of those who suffer from neuromuscular disease.
