Hello from sunny Essex, UK I am 5ft 2in, 42 years old and currently weigh 65kg, I am desperate to get down to 58kg and keep it off but am awful at motivation and managing my diet, I would be so grateful if someone would offer to help me and encourage me to keep going, hopefully I can do the same for you too !!

Hey! I’m from the UK too (Bristol). Welcome to DB!!! I’m fairly new too though i’m absolutley loving this site, it’s such an eye opener logging your daily foods and seeing what’s actually in them! I’ve found i’m not eating much cals on a daily basis but loads of carbs so i’ve been cutting down on them and upping my protein. Scales say i’ve lost 2lbs since last week so i think it’s working! Plus the info and support you get on here is great! Good luck with it and keep me posted on how you get on! :)

Wow, I can so relate to both of you. I need help staying motivated and keeping to my plan. I am in US, and also in my 40’s. I want to lose about 30-35 pounds (not sure how many kilos) I have started today…again. I will complete this time. I have a short term goal of 6 weeks to lose 12 pounds. I do struggle with counting calories and journaling my food…any suggestions? Thanks
