List the supplements you are taking and the reason why you take them. Currently, I am supplement free. However, in the past I have taken the standard supplements and observed good results:

I’m using New-Whey by IDS Sports. Not that great tasting, but 42 grams of protein in a shot isn’t that bad when dumped in a bottle of water and sipped on over a couple hours. Other than that, Mass Tabs, also by IDS. Helps with the pumps. |

I’ve tried plenty of supps, but I take EAS protein powder, fish oil, and multis. Sometimes I’ll throw in Tribulus Terristis to mix things up, but I don’t use it much anymore. |

I’m currently on Muscle Milk (Chocolate) and creatine to help build mass. Right now I’m only taking the muscle milk after workouts but starting tomorrow I’m going to take Muscle milk as a meal replacement and take it again after workouts—I heard this works best. I’m still debating.. |

I am trying or have tried Ultimate Nutrition products here in the U.K. I currently use Whey Protein with skimmed milk for additional protein and Metressyn for my post-workout carbs/protein. I also take a multi-vitamin, some glycosamine sulphate (well I am over 40…) and a vitamin C/Zinc pill daily. I tinkered with Creatine, tried some Tribulus Terristis, additional amino supplements, some NO boosters (L-Arginine), liver tablets, and some other bits and bobs. The jury is still out – I decided to keep things simple after a recent 12-week cycle with various supplements. Have I noticed a difference? No – apart from spending less money! |

hmm, I don’t take anything. I’m new to working out. I realized what a fat ass I had become and how hot I had once been and want to be again one day. Ha ha! Anyway, since I’m new to all of this, maybe one of you can fill me in on why your taking supplements and maybe if I should or not. They’re not bad are they, like steroids? I don’t want to take anything bad. I don’t even take a vitamin! |

nickbsd, just curious where you “heard” this about Muscle Milk? If you do a little research you’ll find there are better options out there. |

I take the following: I’ve had problems with sustaining my energy levels throughout the day, so my fitness-guru friend recommended adding in the B-Complex and Green Tea Extract. |

I take Whey Protein (from Optimum Nutrition) between 1 to 3 times a day depending on how much I have worked out (I always take it after my workouts or after meals) I take BSN No-Xplode before every workout. Usually 1 dose in the morning (at 5AM before going for my daily run/bike/swim) and I take 2 doses if I go for an extra work out in the evening. I found that No-Xplode gives an incredible boost. It is recommended to take it 30 to 45 minutes before you work out and at least 2 hours after having eaten and not eat for 1 to 2 hours after taking it. I have tried different other supplements, without feeling the same effects, so I’m sticking to these 2 right now (especially that they tend to cost a little bit, so if you stack them, your budge might go up rather quickly) |

Animal Pack = Multi-Vitamin. I take it once aday about an hour before work out. ON Whey = Protein. I take this about twice a day. Once in between breakfast and lunch as a meal. Then after work out Ive thought about taking something like No-Xplode but i’m still not sure |
