Discussion started by MiketheRanger

Subject Description

My Goal Is to Eventually Get a Good Set of Abs. But Im pretty sure no matter how hard i work if im not eating right it wont become realized. I could use some tips on a starting diet plan.

If this helps:

im 6'6'' 255lbs, i probably consume about 5k + calories a day. 44% of that being fats and junk.

Any help would be appreciated thx.

hi Mike

Well least you got that figured out that eating crap as it were, will not help you achieve your goals.  What is the diet plan looking like?

Cheers

Stop eating Junk food.

Eat mostly vegetables, fruits and meat.

Those are the best things you can do for yourself.

hey mike

I have a feeling you love taste. It is true that food selection, timing, and amount is fairly complicated I'm gonna try to help you per meal. Most important meal is breakfast. Oatmeal sucks on it's own but do what i do, berrys and nuts with cinamon you got urself a healthy meal with tons of flavor. Get back at me if you want more.

Go for high protein, low carbs and fat diet.

Start your day with egg white and oats,

Have an apple or two around 10ish,

Have chicken breast in lunch,

Protein shake before your workout and one after.

Stick to veggies, fruits or soup for dinner.

You will see change in your body in about 2 to 3 weeks.

Good luck.

CHEERS

Avoid dairies and processed food.

Eat organic food and wild fresh tuna, salmon, anchovies and sardines 4 times a week.

Use extra virgin oils instead of processed ones and make sure you don't eat over 15% fat daily.

As I've a mesomorph body type, my ideal ratio is 55% carbs, 30% proteins and 15% fat.

If you wanna know your body type, just click on: http://www.bodybuildingpro.com/bodytypeinformation.html

Avoid white food (pasta, potatoes, rice...) If you love this food, you can replace it for whole wheat, sweet potatoes, wild rice...).

As we're 70% water and 30% matter, drink water or work out every time you're hungry not to overeat.

And last but not least, I highly recommend you to work out at least 2h a day, 6 days a week!

Courage!
