Working Out With Back Injuries

Hello! I joined Daily Burn a couple months ago but I think I need some motivation in the exercise department! Unfortunately, I have three rods and ten screws in my lumbar spine so certain things like jogging, sit ups (the normal kind), horseback riding ... those kinds of high impact exercises are off limits to me. The low impact stuff doesn't seem to be helping me lose weight! Anyone have any ideas? I am only 38 years old and I really need to get my body back in shape!
