      <description>&lt;p&gt;Yes, china study. &amp;nbsp;Often refered to by the non-fad diet writers. &amp;nbsp; I've read his book too. &amp;nbsp;Very good book. &amp;nbsp;I was living vegan for a few years; however, due to Dr instruction, I eat local chicken and eggs. &amp;nbsp;Fish too. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Eat to Live</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;I really endores Dr. Joel Furhman's Eat to Live plan of eating.&amp;nbsp; It focuses heavily on fruits and vegetables (he does recommend vegan but for omnivores simply suggests meat/fish a few times per week).&amp;nbsp; Many people who are truly health conscious and who have cared enough to look into proper nutrition are familiar with The China Study and similar studies, whose conclusions directly recommend against any animal products - hence, the high number of vegetarians/vegans. Further, people who care enough about themselves to learn about nutrition are more likely to eat their vegetables and take care of themselves anyway.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
