Back in the Groove

I've been really bad about checking into DB lately, and have at the same time been slacking off on my workouts.  (The scale doesn't lie!)  I am working hard to get back into a consistent workout routine, as well as log in here more often in order to remind myself of my goals.

I'm looking to renew my motivation - is there anybody else out there that wants to come along with me??  =)

I'm on board!

I'm game!  I'm back to hardcore working out & running for the first time in a while.  I'm ready to lose these last few pounds & get it in gear! :)

I just bought my first pair of 5-finger shoes.  While I'm still working on getting back into running (which is a special challenge since my current location is rather hilly!), I'm working on adjusting my feet/ankles to running in the Vibrams!  I've also been trying out some spin classes lately, although my work schedule makes it almost impossible to make the classes regularly.  What is everyone else doing for workouts?

Joining the Revive-olution! :)

I would love some motivation and people to talk to about my health!

I started running (I just got my VFFs today too) and want to work myself into running a 5k a day! I can't run very much right now, less than a mile, but I walk up to 2 miles a day. I also work on toning my triceps and abs!

I lost 2 lbs over 3 weeks (which is pitiful) but I dropped a pant size (maybe I switched it out for muscle)!

yes! get this group back on!

I'm realtively new to DB and came across this group and it would be great to have support and people to talk to. I have my fitblog (ohshenanigans.com) which is good support for me but I feel like connecting with people my age who use DailyBUrn as much as I do would be great too!

Signs of progress!

I have found that working out super-early in the morning is often the only way I can get a decent workout in.  Unfortunately, they don't offer spin classes at 4:30 at the gym I go to!  =P  I recently downloaded some mp3 spin workouts from www.trihardist.com and would love to find more to fill my ipod!  =)

ANYWAY, in reference to my post title: I recently ran a 1.5-mile time trial (after not running for 2 weeks, to boot!) and managed a sub-7 minute pace!  I haven't done that in a couple years!!  I'm glad that although the scale hasn't quite caught up with me after my slip earlier this year, I am definitely showing signs of improved fitness - woot!!
