Interval Training

I seem to respond well to Interval Training and drop weight fast when I incorporate it into my workouts. Its a great way to get your Cardio and Burn Fat fast throughout the day.

Here is a sample of what I will do:

Tues, Thurs, Sat

Jog 1 Min, Sprint 30 sec Min (do this on and off for 20 min total)

Then I follow a 15 and 5 method....

-15 min on elyptical

-5 min brisk walk

Repeat this twice.

This does two things....

1. The first set of intervals is nasty and gets your body into muscle confusion and you burn fat

2. It sets you mentally to not get bored.

Three sets of Intervals within themselves allows for muscle confusion, a quick workout and burn a shit load of calories..... (Typically 1100 ). You will also not get bored. You can cahnge up the routine to have the sprints in the middle of the two or at the end or the beginning and challange yourself.

Don't let it get monotonous

Mix up the types of workouts you're doing!

Switch the order in which you do the workouts, increase the amount of your work, do both cardio and strength training...

It's important to not let your body get used to your workouts so that you will continuously see improvements and results.

If you want some ideas, Gyminee has a lot of workout programs or you can build your own workouts and use the tool to mix and match your targeted areas, cardio, and strength training.

I use DDR, dumbells, work-out videos, walking, bicycling, and my trampoline. I try and do things outside and music is a great tool to keep you focused on something other than the pain.

Good luck! Hope my tips help out! :)
