I'm relatively new to Gyminee (2 days - I guess that makes me very new), but so far like the functionality, etc.
I haven't had a chance to examine all the posts in the forums, but are there any plans to incorporate a more Blackberry friendly interface for Gyminee? (I've been using Ascendo Fitness, but it really doesn't cut it.)
I develop fitness apps for BlackBerry and other mobile devices. Out of curiosity, what are you looking for in a mobile app?
Our flagship product is all about simplicity. No tracking. Just an exercise guide that gives you a full-body workout. You can try it out at http://www.fitdeckmobile.com
Jason - Thanks for the tip; I checked out your program, it looks slick but isn't really what I'm looking for. I'm looking for more of a tracking (weight, workout, etc.) database type application than one that provides workout types & instruction.
So far all that's worked for my BB is using my browser to access gyminee.com/iphone. It works well to log workouts but I haven't had much luck with the nutrition log.
I've actually been able to log nutritional stuff - but only when logging one of my "favorite foods" The search function doesn't seem to work properly from my BB's browser.
I've been using gymtechnik and loving it. I don't want to leave Gyminee but gymtechnik is way too easy and tracks simply beautifully. Now it is only for workouts and not nutrition but once you remove the workout part of "gyminee" then there are other much better options for nutritional tracking. I also waited for HRM integration but Gyminee got so wrapped up in GPS that they lost site of the HRM part of the deal. So far there is no site that has an "all in one" solution. Gymtechnik automatically syncs and updates from the gym and my BB and also prompts me with the previous workout stats so I know just where I am at for each workout. It's new so there is still some bugs to work out but it is more than smooth enough for me.
