As important as a good playlist, is the headphones you use to listen to it. Buds or wrap arounds? Good sound quality? Waterproof? And why won't they just stay in my ears!?!?! This thread is to talk about headphones that you like and those that you hate. An overall forum for reviews and suggestions of headphones.

Update: Yurbud Ironman- thumbs up!

I bought these open box on Ebay for about half price, so they came with no documentation and only the large size earpieces, but I was sold. They have stayed in really well through jumprope, running stairs, elliptical, etc. With a lot of movement, you do get a fair amount of cable noise at low volume. Also, for iPhone folks, no inline mic. But otherwise these have been great.

my .02

I've had better luck with skullcandy than the ones that come with my apple products, but I don't like "in ear" ones in general. Upside of skullcandy is the adjustable bud size - s/m/l in each package.

I just started using a pair of wraparounds/behind the neck kind and am not sure how I like them yet. Definitely more comfortable. They've never fallen off but they always feel loose to me.

I have two different models of Philips headphones. Both of them are waterproof. Buds and wrap around, respectively. I am quite happy with them. I don't need a high sound quality for running (it is not bad, though). The most important thing is them to stay in while I run.

Avoid Skullcandy

I am currently falling back to my original Apple earbuds even though the button on the mic no longer works because I sweat in them so bad. And I have to loop the wire for the left ear bud over my ear to keep it in. Still a signifcant improvement over the Skullcandy Ink'd buds I just bought that are awful; the mic button didn't work out of the box and they sound fantastic as long as you don't move. If you should move, they make this wooshing popping noise and your favorite music now sounds like your next door neighbor from grade school is playing it over your string & tin can telephone set up.

Beats, Bose, and Ipod

I have used the ipod headphones, and they don't stay in very well, and I think the sound is crap. I used to use Bose buds and I liked those a lot...but they weren't waterproof and after enough running my sweat shorted them out. Great investment that one. I've tried my husbands beats buds and the sound is incredible, but they fall out of my ears constantly! But they come with like 4 different styles of ear pieces so I am still hoping one of them will work for me. The other pair I was thinking of trying is the new Ironman buds. I read a review of them on dailyburn and it certainly sounded interesting. Any one use them before?

iPhone earbuds

I just use the iPhone buds that came with my shuffle. However, these do tend to hurt my ears a little. What have you used and would recommend?
